    the new sky sports website

Post by Lordanger on Sun Aug 05, 2007 12:17 pm

does anyone else hate the new layout and menus? i cant find anything now and it seems to have about 1/4 of the content.
i always liked the old site and it may have looked a bit dated but at least it was user friendly.
what footy sites do people use on here? as i think i need a new one!
cant look at 365 too much as it annoys the living fook out of me! LLama

Lots and lots and lots of info is inaccurate. The visual style is irritating. The layout is harder to use. About 1 in every 5 links doesn't take you where it is meant to.

    Abso-fucking-lutely dreadful.

    ok

Does anyone know if you can change the size of a webpage (if this makes any sense)? The new Skysports format doesn't fit on my screen properly and I always have to scroll to the side to read everything. It's the only website that I have this problem with.

I have to admit. You click on Football and nothing is there you have to search for it.

What about the new layout for the Sky Sports News TV channel?

Going to take a bit of getting used to.

The theme tune from the LOTR trailer/Requiem for a Dream is so last year.

I like the actual match score now though on sky sports one, appearing in the bottom left.

Thanks Saints and Kas, it fits perfectly at 90%. Blut, I'll bear that in mind, although it's still a better source for football than most of the websites out there!

sport1 sucks though, don't listen to otto. Most pro-Bayern media there is, it's absolutely ridiculous.

Best and most neutral German football site there is, and one of the very best football sites / magazines in general: http://www.kicker.de/

On the subject of Sky what did eveyone make of the time and score of match at the bottom left of the screen?

It annoyed me after 10 mins today!

I quite like the new layout of SSN though. The Lord of the Rings theme tune works quite well with sport.

15/08/07 - the frontpage for the skysports football pages still contains a link to Matt Le Tissier's preview of the Man U-Reading game.

Christ, we could run a better site than them...
