Foggia looked amazing at the weekend.

He looked the most talented player on the pitch, which is saying a lot with players like Delps, Almiron and Nedved there.

It wasn't just his guile and movement but the guy also had some end product. Would struggle against pace though I think

I remmeber when he and Rosina used to man the flanks for the azzurini with Montolivo in the middle... when in song, that azzurini side really rocked.

Montolivo's goal last week was a cracker, as was Rosina's Wink

They all lack height and strength though. At under 21 level its ok, but for the Azzuri it could be a disaster

Somehow for Italy, the really creative ones have mostly been a bit short... Baggio, Del Piero, Zico, etc... another reason why only the best of them will play for the azzurri, out of Rosina, Giovinco, Foggia, Rossi, etc all of them cannot play together.

Montolivo is tall enuf tho.

Montolivo is ok

He's probably my height... almost 6'.

Rosina looks about 5'6'' though, as does Foggia.

France:

Faty, Bourillon, Didot, Gourcuff, Briand, M'Bia, Marveaux (The Rennes Connection). Pretty much all of these players will be huge.

Gomis, Payet (St étienne): Gomis could become one of the top 10 forwards in the world; Pace and technique.

Menez, Gakpé (Monaco) - Menez is one of the best players of the Frenchleague this season so far.

Ben Arfa, Benzema (Lyon) - No need to introduce them anymore.

Quercia (Sochaux)

and finally Samir NASRI!!!

Gourcuff should be huge, but with Milan's policy he may not make the first until he's about 32. May have to leave to get regular football.

Gourcuff needs more opportunities than he is getting at present. Imo he could do with a move to a club fighting for a UEFA spot for a bit.

Aside from that, Nasri>>>All

Anelka>>>>>>>>Nasri at the moment unfortunately.

Gourcuff should come to us on loan, but the idiot wants to fight for his place in the Milan team Doh.

Does he not realise that he's going to end up with Toulalan, both Diarras, Nasri, Ben Arfa, Diaby, Mavuba, Faubert and Ribery ahead of him for a place in midfield?

Benfica - Angel di Maria, Fabio Coentrao, Freddy Adu
Al tough so far Di Maria has had the most promising game, absolutely terrorizing Nacional da Madeira on Benfica 0-3 away win
Also worth having a look, Romeu Ribeiro,Miguel Vitor and Yu Dabao, all from Benfica youth squad.
All in all, we have 6 under 20's on our senior squad Shocked

How much did you buy Angel Di Maria for?

I read/heard he played well at youth level for Argentina this Summer.

E6M for 80% of his sporting rights
Played well in a very hard gmae in Copenhagen (very hard and heavy pitch) and played even better at Nacional

Still has to learn how to release the ball earlier, but on Rui Costa guidance, I think we will have a future star
Let's see

P.SI updated the link with a more extensive highlights of the game

Here is what info I could pull on Inter's most talked about prodigy... Mario Balotelli Barwuah - the 16 year old who is already a top man for the U20s. (Must do some more research on his ethnic origins, coz barwuah also sounds like a common Indian surname).

Career
Barwuah is the son of Ghanaian immigrants Thomas and Rose Barwuah. He was born in Palermo and was entrusted at the age of to the Balotelli family who lived in Concesio, a town and comune in the province of Brescia, in Lombardy. Little Mario was entrusted to the Balotelli family by the Court of Brescia in 1993. However, he is currently ineligible to obtain Italian citizenship, as his adoption was never made definitive.

According to the Law 91 of February 5, 1992, [6], Mario must wait until after his 18th birthday in order to request Italian citizenship. Only then will he be able to choose which citizenship to retain independently. Due to his legal problems, he did not manage to answer a number of call-ups received by Italian national Under 15 and Under 17 teams in the past, as he is still considered a Ghanaian immigrant.[7]

As of March 12, 2007 Mario has scored 19 goals in 18 league matches for F.C. Internazionale Milano Under-17 Team, Allievi Nazionali. He also trains and plays with Internazionale's Primavera Under-20 Team, Primavera. He scored 8 times with the Under-20s, including a tie-breaking penalty in the Primavera league final won 2-1 to Sampdoria. He recently stated his willingness to represent Italy at the international level once he will be able to acquire an Italian passport.[8]

International career
On 7 August 2007, 5 days before his 17th birthday, he received his first senior International call-up from Ghana Coach Claude Le Roy for a FIFA International friendly match against Senegal in the New Den Stadium in London, England on 21 August 2007[9], but declined the offer citing once again his willingness to play for Italy when he becomes eligible

8 goals in 7 Ligue 1 matches so far for Benzema. Pretty good average, especially because Ligue 1 is the lowest scoring league in Europe.
