Portugal after Scolari is my guess.
He said that International management will be an objective for him, but only at the end off his managerial career.

Always said he wouldn't consider that till he was much older. His last job maybe.

Both Barca and Real Madrid seem to be demanding good, attacking football now, so Mourinho's tactics might not fit in with their philosophy. Portugal is a good shout. It will be interesting to see who replaces him as well. I guess Abramovich will be after someone more adventurous now.

Find it hard to believe. The timing is all wrong. Just before a man utd match. They should have at least waited till Dec.

it's about time. Jose had got steadily worse each season; it had to come to this.
Lippi! please not Capello for more of the same.

Bengali = You

Uncle Phil threw Jazz out of his house almost every episode.

You've just threatened to kick me off the forum. Plus i still haven't forgotten that "jug of custard post" from last year, so I'm betting your fatter than Uncle Phil, but still slimmer than Ballack (Tom).

Truly shocked didn't see this coming so early in the season. Whoever comes in definetly needs to play more attacking football
Hiddink to do Russia and Chelsea ?

A 'senior Chelsea player' is apparently insisting that Mourinho has been sacked, rather than resigning.

They were just saying on SSN that it is partly down to his recruitment of players this Summer and letting some others leave.

The sun guessing who next...

SVEN GORAN ERIKSSON leads the shock list of possible contenders if Jose Mourinho's exit from Chelsea is confirmed today.

The Swede has led Manchester City to second in the Premiership and was reportedly courted by Blues owner Roman Abramovich when he was still England boss.

Eriksson is thought to have held out for one of the top club jobs in football before moving to city after their mega-bucks takeover.

But Chelsea would enable him to fulfil his ambition of a serious assault on the champions League.

Chelsea director of football Avram Grant - recruited from a similar position at Portsmouth over the summer - and Russia coach Guus Hiddink will be other names surely linked with Stamford Bridge.

More fancifully, perhaps, what about Arsene Wenger - despite his agreeing a new long-term deal at Arsenal?

Manchester United No 2 Carlos Queiroz would crave such a step up.

But Abramovich will want a big name who can guarantee the flowing football Mourinho has failed to produce despite becoming the most successful Blues manager ever

Wenger lol! God they are stupid sometimes
