    Valencia starting XI

Post by B.I.L.F. on Fri Aug 25, 2006 11:02 pm

Just wondering what La Liga fans think their squad will be and will they stick with the same 4-2-3-1 formation or whats the story.

If you could tell me starting 11 and subs most of the time thats all i really need.

    cheers

    Do they play 4-5-1?

Will both Gavilan and Vicente play together?

    ------------------Cañizares

    Miguel------- ? ----Albiol-------Del Horno

    ----------------Edu------Albelda

    Joaquin--------------------------------Vicente

    ---------------------Villa

    ---------------------Moro

Thats the team Quique will play with Baraja coming on for Edu. Or taking 1 striker off and playing Silva just behind the " 9 "
As for the center back, that depends who they sign. If they dont sign anyone then it will be either Marchena, Morretti or Navarro.

He has 1 year left on his contract and the club is offering him to renew but for less money after the club told him they would better his contract. So Ayala has said he wants to leave " he has an agreement with Villarreal " and the club should sell him now or he will leave free next summer. Valencia are asking for alot of money for him and have told the player he either accepts the clubs offer or he will go all season without playing.

Also, rumour has it in Coruña that Valencia are trying to sign Duscher & Andrade, Gavilan could be included in the deal.

I wouldnt say a im a die hard fan m8 but I admire their all out attack style.
And have watched them keenly since Baptista was there.

Im a big fan of Alves , Navas , Renato and Adriano.

They are great to watch when in full flow.

Im a more of a fan of Valencia , after I saw Rafa's side rip us apart in Anfield in the CL and was at Anfield when they played us in friendly and again was mezmerised by their style esp being that close up.

I dont think Tavano will play much unless he`s shit hot. Quique didnt even want him so ...

They are rumours going around that Flores and carboni aren’t even on speaking terms and that he is the one that sign tavano.

They also say that this season is Flores last chance saloon if the team doesn’t seriously challenge for all the major titles he will be fired.

Yeah i heard the same thing, they dont even speak to each other anymore. To be honest if Valencia dont finish in the top 3 with the team they have Quique will get fired. Rumour has it he came close to getting fired at the end of last season.
Valencia always seem to be shit, players, manager, president, the board, if its not one thing its another.
