WOW! España playing toque toque toque fútbol for a change. About time they realized they had it in them FFS! They're mopping the floor with Sweden! Biggrin <Ale>

Superb team goal on the 2nd one. Spain playing tiki-taka but making Sweden look like a pub side, which they most certainly aren't. Great performance so far.

Viva el tiqui-taca. My one complaint is Albelda, I'd rather see Oubina or Raul Garcia playing there as they can actually play the ball. Xavi keeps dropping deep to pick up the ball.

The real challenge will be when we're drawing/losing.

Zapater or Senna would probably do better jobs as well.

Wonderful performance so far tho.

Been particularly impressed with Iniesta & Villa (great movement)

Xavi & Capdevila have also been very good. All the threat has been coming down the left

yep.. we all know what is going to happen when we go to Austria/Switzerland.. but at least this is really entertaining!!

I agree on your Albelda comment, but it is hard to complain about the side the way they are playing tonight..

Joaquin is on the bench, he'd be a good option.

albelda is a good player he is desperately needed with all the offensive players on the pitch and can certainly give the ball to xavi i'd be telling him not to drop so deep too, but he has been excellent

Albedla is a a very good player. Not in great form at the moment though. Hasn't had a bad game today though. Everyone for Spain has played well.

Oubina, Zapater & Garcia are all good options for the future tho.

I don't doubt we need a DM, but we need one that's able to play the ball forward. What I've seen a couple of times is that they're playing the ball from right to left of defence until Xavi drops deep, then we're able to move the play forward.

Another good pass by Xavi down the right channel to Villa, who crosses back for Cesc but his header goes over.

Raul Tamudo about to come on.

I don't see what's wrong with it. Anyways without the Catalan c**ts the spanish national team would be worse than it is.

Rather than compliment the team for outplaying Sweden they write how terrible the Swedes were.

Continued from the other thread.
Cesc has been poor in all the games he's started for Spain. I think it's because he isn't as mobile as Iniesta who always looks to get into positions to receive the ball and run at the opposition. Cesc is part Xavi and part Iniesta. If we were playing 4-4-2 I'd pair Iniesta with Xavi.

More highly than Torres. Good at everything really, but doesn't get recognition as he plays for a modest club.
