because he was played out of position (don't know why, but maybe San Marco believed he will operate well...which he did not)

You cant call him a bad player due to his height -- what he lacks in height, he makes up in his all round contribution to the team, passes, goals and assists.

They can play in the same team.

VDV left due to poor relationship with the then Ajax coach, plus other personal problems.

He is too arrogant. Remember the incident with Sonck during the game? Disgusting midget....

He aint a real personality. He thinks the whole world is kissing his midger feet. Remember he decided not to speak to the press? Just becasue the "Leaders" said it to him.

He ruined our summer. Because he is kissing the ass of Mvb he is allowed to play, where van Bommel should play.

His imitation of Lampard is poor. He doesnt get too many deflections. Instead his shots are way over

He only played 1 good game. And that was against those poor Scots.

He still tries to be better then VDV. But when you look at his face you can see the bitterness. He knows he lacks talent.

Did i mention his arrogance already? Anyway as you can see, i dont rate him very high..

Is he completely useless then? No, i had respect for him when Utrecht player di Tomasso died, he went there first to show his respect. So i dont think sneijder is a bad human but i think he should just find something else then football. He would make an excellent jockey.

    @ Fey

How many players today are classed as 'arrogant' - i agree with you he has a 'arrogant' problem (his celebration against PSV and his 2nd goal against NAC made me laugh, and think about the points you and the other Dutchies on these boards make...he needs to sort that out pronto.)

I'm not sure if KJH likes him (he didn't celebrate with him in the weekend..)

the problem is i think Ajax don't play in a system that suits him (he can be the play maker) but Ajax don't play him in that role...so he is not getting the best out of himself:

    I want (something like) this:

    ---------------------- Maduro -- Gabri

    -------- -<<<<---------- Sneijder >>>>>
    ------------------------------- |
    ------------------------------- |
    ------------------------------- V
    ------------- Rosenberg ----------- Rosales

    --------------------------- Huntelaar

.. as for butt kissing San Marco i don't think so, they have 2 things in common (born in Utrecht and Ajacied) i believe van Basten can drop WS if he is not up to scratch..

The problem lies with a certain Cruijff -- he keeps hyping Sneijder and most gullible people would believe him, i like Sneijder as a player don't get me wrong (he is my favourite Ajacied) but even i know Sneijder is not all that - i like him for being a unique player someone who can give Xtra.

But because Cruijff is acting like his 'cheerleader' most 'average' Ajax and dare i say Dutch fans will believe Sneijder to be a player that he is not.

Plus the goals he is getting at the moment will just fuel the sentiments...

Ofcourse Klaas wasnt happy. Next game Sneijder wont hesitate to shoot again on goal. But Klaas wants goals as well...could be an intresting issue in the future.

Now back to Sneijder, i understand why Cruijf is hyping him. He thinks that Sneijder can play the same role in the Dutch squad as Pirlo at the azzuri...

But as we all know Pirlo is a much more complete player then Sneijder ever will be. But Cruijff is still hoping, and maybe he can see something that we cant see. Afterall he is Cruijff...but i doubt he can.

Just want to know how the Ajax lads get on without the cameras...

Sneijder will mature (and become his own player) -- he wont be in the internationals coming..so we see how his future in Oranje will be like...

Fey don't forget what Club Cruijff loves, he wants to think that these Ajax players can do well (he wants them to do well)

I'm happy he plays for Ajax and not for Groningen

Clarence Seedorf wasted more posession in Oranje than he does

    @ Axeslammer !

the fact that he is one of Ajax key players (in the last 3 years) makes him loved..

.. i cant excuse his arrogance nor can i excuse his inability not to shoot form 20 years..

but ask yourself this; How OLD is he? -- HE WILL Change

He will lose his arrogant streak (he gained from Zlatan)
and he will become a 'better' player..

His younger brother could come through the Ajax Youth Ranks ...

That could be a possible reason -- or he might have had a troubled childhood.. (i am not speculating), but playing for a club like Ajax you should not have these traits..another reason why; could be ...... he did for a time live in the shadow of Rafael van der Vaart and Zlatan ... and now Klaas Jan Huntelaar (as the darling of Ajax), Sneijder is to most fans - a important player and cult hero..
