MOTD 23rd/24th Feb
Rant about the crapness of presenters, lack of replays of significant moments, blatant club bias and so on...

They're more interested in spending five minutes discussing how Arsenal drawing and Man U winning makes it more likely that Man U will win the title than with the very real and interesting competition going on between 4th and 10th spot...

Re: MOTD 23rd/24th Feb
Will be interesting to hear the reaction to Wenger's comments. I don't think he's done himself any favours today. Being infuriated over a challenge is one thing but publically saying a player should be banned from football is another, especially as there have been occassions where Arsenal players have made similar challenges (albeit they fortunately didn't break another players leg). Before I get a knee jerk reaction I know Chelsea players have committed similar challenges (as have players of all clubs), so I hope Grant never makes comments along these lines (I don't even think Mourinho would've and he was famed for being over-dramatic).

Fair play to him in that case. Probably just heat of the moment stuff then.

Censorship!
Last week i saw a bit of some hospital show on the BBC, a woman had broken her ankle on a trampoline and the bone was sticking out, we saw a nurse crack and twist it back into place - blood dribbling out and everything. How can they show that but not this?

why was Gallas crying? What is it with Arsenal defenders? Didn't Campbell have a breakdown around this time a couple of seasons ago?
Fair play to Wenger releasing the retraction on his Taylor comments.

So ... The freekick shouldn't have been given; Adebayor should have had a penalty; and Clichy got the ball

Does no one think the Arsenal board may have spoken to Wenger to retract those comments?

All Hansen's opinions.
The freekick was unarguable. You could also say that your first was a foul from Adeboyor.

Quite possibly. Whether he made the decision himself or was advised to, it was the correct thing to do. I don't think anyone can blame him for over-reacting immediately after the game, and there is no point compounding a truly shocking day for us by Wenger getting himself banned.

William Gallas is an unnerving individual. There’s something about him that just doesn’t sit right. I once saw a video of him behaving manically next to his team-coach. It was quite disturbing and I think that if I had been in his presence I would have tried to get away from him. He seemed a little psychotic, tbh.
This has nothing to do with Arsenal! But after seeing his behaviour today I thought I’d share my thoughts about him.

Re: MOTD 23rd/24th Feb
The Brum free kick was a free kick, the Arsenal 'penalty' was nothing of the sort - the ball was 30 yards away, Adebayor wasn't in possession and was going away from goal. If you give every minor foul on a player in the area as a penalty then okay, but we don't, so it wasn't.
Eduardo replay was a bit grim, Wenger's comments hilarious as ever. His team know all about kicking superior opponents so he can f@ck right off with that.
Other than that, a tedious MOTD despite Hansen's blatant drunkeness.

Re: MOTD 23rd/24th Feb
I find it astonishing how frequently Hansen uses the phrase "throughout the whole game", as if he's watched and analysed the full 90 minutes of each Premiership match.
