The tackles stat is deceptive. Reo-Coker has 127 tackles with an 80% success rate, which is surely better than Mascha's 128 with a 77% success rate.

    No surprises there.

Top Passer - Francesc Fabregas (Arsenal) - 1676

    Or there.

Top Tackler - Javier Mascherano (Liverpool) - 129

    Or there.

Most Dribbles & Runs - Cristiano Ronaldo (Man Utd) - 128

Or there, though Hleb must be nearby (not that his dribbles ever produce anything mind, but he does hog the ball like Ronaldo)

Most Crosses - David Bentley (Blackburn) - 306

And to think Agooner wrote him off...

Most Offsides - Emmanuel Adebayor (Arsenal) - 54

Slightly surprised, and kinda disproves the 'teams always sit deep and park the bus against Arsenal' propaganda.

Most Fouls - Kevin Davies (Bolton) - 76

Absolutely no surprise here, except that it's Davies and not Diouf

Team with Most Fouls - Middlesbrough - 422

    Good on them.

Team with Most Shots - Man Utd - 420

So Ronaldo takes almost 1 in every 4 shots Man U have? No wonder he's scoring so many...

I guess it should come as no surprise to find out that Arsenal like to pass the ball a lot!

    Stats Rolling Eyes

Javi has 1 goal for us and 2 for Argentina.
Reo-Joker has never even played for England at a senior level.

Seriously - NRC has looked like a new player this season. Full marks to O'Neill for the rehabilitation.

Malbranque's stats are deceptive, there's a 5 minute spell in every spurs game when Malbranque loses the ball, then tackles it back, then loses it again and so on until he gets tired - he never actually wins the ball back properly.

I know. For someone who is meant to be quite technically gifted, his second touch ends up being a tackle an awful lot of the time...

Berbatov has the advantage of playing in a midtable side too, so half of his games are against better sides.
