Looking at the players missing..Walcott, Wheater, Huddlestone to name a few..does this mean they must be getting called up for the full team? Or do they have injuries..I know Wheater doesnt so it seems strange he'd be left out of the U21s all of a sudden.

The captain isn't even there, maybe they've agreed to leave out some players that are in the first team for their clubs. There's $h!t to play for.

I think it's if you're 21 or under at the start of qualifying you can keep playing. Reo-Coker was 23 at the euros i think.

Ah right, fair enough. You never know then, could just be an agreement with some teams and their players like you say.

0-0 pretty $h!t game
Johnson looked useful, whilst Mancienne looked like a Gould.
Couple of the Polish fellas looked decent too. Look to have a good play maker.

I didn't even know they were playing
The draw against England is always appreciated. We are always having problems playing them.
Heard that Majewski was very good.

Johnson Stars in England U21 Game
England U21 0-0 Poland U21
Middlesbrough winger Adam Johnson was England's stand-out player
An inexperienced England Under-21 side drew a blank in a friendly against their Polish counterparts at Molineux.
Stuart Pearce gave five players their debuts, but it was Middlesbrough winger Adam Johnson who stood out.
The 20-year-old had a first-half penalty claim turned down after one of several breathtaking runs.
Striker Frazier Campbell had a chance to add to his growing reputation near the end when he met Jamie O'Hara's cross but saw his shot deflected wide.

Not to seem arrogant or anything but our U21s have to the best in the world at the moment.. I think we could be seeing the dawn of a new era in Spanish football in a few years

Out of the entire starting XI, how many of these young promising Polish boys will be playing for Germany at full international level?
