Where is Wilshere?!?! and Bostock??!?! Sad

Well, we seem quite strong in attack. Defluenza is quite a skillful striker, Moses is very fast and powerful (and versatile) and Welbeck is tall and strong but with a good touch so we have a range of options there.

Gosling looks like he may develop into a fantastic midfielder. Lets see how he does.

Re Henry Lansbury - he has in the past been touted as a future Arsenal regular but has been rather blown away by Wilshere. Will be interested to see how he does for the Under 19s.

Matty James is a decent potential too, box to box, while Drinkwater is more calm, playmaker style.
Welbeck can easily play wing/wingforward too.

Who is the preferred keeper Amos or Steele ?

Well I've heard of Amos. I haven't heard of Steel so my guess would be Amos.

To be fair Kimbo Welbeck is an established player already so you can't really expect Ranger to be ahead of him.

And Welbeck dropped out of U21 because of injury, so you dont expect him to play in U19.

I wouldn't exactly say he is established. Is an extra in a movie and established actor? Is a backing singer an established artist?

Nile Ranger sounds like a job description. A pretty exciting job at that.

And what's with the Arsenal player being Henri with an i ? Was he trying to convince Wenger he wasn't English?

He's played many more key games than Ranger has. Carling Cup Final and F. A Cup semi-final are two examples.

Has Ranger even played a first team game for Newcastle yet? I know you like him but come on...

That's not really the point is it. England wouldn't have qualified without Ranger. scratch

That already happened, because Germany won last year's U19 Euro, and therefore holds all three European youth football titles these days.

But it is a setback that they failed to qualify for this years U19 Euro, no doubt about that.

Don't like the tournament being scheduled this late. Glad Holland didn't qualify, so Feyenoord players would miss the preseason.

It being scheduled this late is bad for every player with a chance of first/full team football. Should have been held at the same time as the U21 tourney.

If you think the timing of the U19 Euros is bad, what about the U20 WC this autumn? It's in the middle of the season! And since it's an official and important FiFA tournament, clubs are forced to let their players go, and can't do anything about it.
