    The fixtures for the 2009/10 season have been released! First round is as follows:

    Valencia-Sevilla
    Real Madrid-Deportivo
    Barcelona-Sporting
    Málaga-Atlético de Madrid
    Mallorca-Xerez
    Almería-Valladolid
    Racing-Getafe
    Athletic Club de Bilbao-Espanyol
    Osasuna-Villarreal
    Real Zaragoza-Tenerife

    The first Barça-Real Madrid is schedule for 29 Nov and the return fixture is 12 Apr so mark your calendars!

    Apparently Barça play Atletico in the 3rd week.

    Hopefully no crazy sequence of fixtures this season.

    I wasn't moaning about it...I was saying it in general with regards to all the teams in the league. Even if realistically it's not, it still feels like a distortion to have the kind of "mini-league" that every team faced last season.

    You do understand that if in the first half of the season all the games are at home, the second half (the business end) all the games are away from home. If anything its a disadvantage!
