Business/marketing is more important than football. Just give the players a decent ball to play with & don't fuck around with new inventions.

Or maybe Ronaldo's free kicks and long shots are more amazing than we all realise

I agree. It's like playing with one of those plastic balls you buy from petrol stations.

Casillas is on the right track, but as far as I'm concerned he could/should have left out the word "cojones"

I would have thought Ronaldo would be blaming the ball after Saturday as well.

I think it is unfair to keepers but also it gives the appearance that players nowadays are better at shooting the ball then they just to be. Today outfield players get assistence they shouldn't need.

Not at all because here we have companies making footballs in such a way that is deliberately made to help footballers. Apparently it is ok to make it much harder to save the ball because this will help create more entertainment. I think it is utterly stupid and strange considering that football is supposed to be a relatively conservative sport.

My bet is that he'll be stroking his beard as he makes his saves for the camera. Posing c**t.

It's better for the sport to have more goals being scored, esp. spectacular long distance ones, which is what the new balls help with...though it does make it easier for less talented players to just hit and hope.
Anyway the small increase in goals due to the new footballs is offset by the negative styles practiced by so many teams nowadays.

I think those new balls help certain type of goal attempts, the swerving ones. Don't think they help, even think they make it more difficult, to place the ball with an aimed curler in the top corner.
