Arguably two of the best strikers in modern day football, but if you could only have one in your side who would it be?

Would DDA Drogba be your first choice? The pace, power, general banter of the man is enough for most people to pick him over Fernando 'Nancy Nino' Torres.

But we saw Torres step up to the plate and rip Ferdinand a new arsehole at the weekend simply because he was raped so badly.

Torres - scores more often and has a better, more consistent attitude.

Best striker in the world atm by a country mile.

I'd like to see Torres when Benitez isnt his club manager again. See what his consistant attitude is like then.

Drogba has an impact even when he doesn't score or play well for this i would probably opt for him. However if i had to pick one for my club to buy it'd be Torres. Wait does that even make sense? probably not.

Torres is shit, Rooney is better than him, and I genuinely believe that.

Drogba has the eyes of a drug dealer who gets high on his own supply - then murders all his friends for stealing his stash.

You could pick him for your team but you would be risking your life and those of the rest of your squad.. think about it.

all things being equal probably Drogba, he can be the provider as well as the goalscorer.

But Torres, despite his injury problems is more consistent than Drogba, 47 EPL goals in 66 games, compared to Drogba's 63 goals in 114 games. Torres is 6 years and 9 days younger, is white. hits the ground running and is slightly less petulant.

For a one-off game tomorrow, Drogba, for a season or five, Torres.

Drogba is more complete. But he lacks the x-factor that Torres has.

Just from VI. It says that Torres scored 9 goals in 6 won matches. And when he doesnt score Liverpool managed to get only 6 points. With Drogba its the other way around, he didnt score in 7 seven games, but those games were all won. More then in the games where Drogba does score.

So Torres is more important for Liverpool then Drogba is for Chelsea!

This might be the black part of me talking but im going for Drogba. Torres keeps impressing and I was one of those who doubted how well he would do in England. Can't stand his dribbling though and im still disapointed in the way he turned out because he looked much more technical when he first started out at Atletico.

That's the main reason why I would pick Drogba over him. The prospect of having the Madrid squad put up with Ramos, Guti, and Torres take showers together after every training session and after every match is just too much. Drogba may pull some prison-style gang rapes in the showers, but I think the squad would rather have that over a bunch of queens singing "I'm walking on sunshine" while spanking each other.

There seems to be some problem with the poll. Only three people have voted for candidate 'Debaser' whereas EIGHT have registered votes for DDA and Nandy. Clearly this is evidence of some sort of vote rigging or irregularity. It may be related to hanging chads and certain voters being improperly registered.

I'm willing to take this to the High Courts and beyond.

Drogba=The Black Vieri
Torres=The White Henry

Torres is a better striker than Henry. He can head the ball and play through the middle as a lone striker.

To be fair to Henry, he played as a lone striker through the middle in the last WC and in Arsenal's run to the CL final.

Never really seen him attempt to head the ball, that might be because of the style of football Arsenal and Barcelona play though.

Drogba.

Torres is good at scoring, but Drogba is a complete package. Has a sizable amount of assists If i remember correctly.

I'd also take Ibra ahead of Torres based on current form.
