Premier League talk, frustration, hype and DERBIES 28/29 Nov

Post by Luis on Fri Nov 27, 2009 2:24 pm

    Saturday, 28 November 2009
    Aston Villa v Tottenham
    Blackburn v Stoke
    Fulham v Bolton
    Man City v Hull
    Portsmouth v Man Utd
    West Ham v Burnley
    Wigan v Sunderland

    Sunday, 29 November 2009
    Arsenal v Chelsea
    Everton v Liverpool
    Wolverhampton v Birmingham

Some really good games this weekend with sunday being the better day, I think most would agree, on paper.

Man United travel to Portsmouth where if Michael Owen is a really really good boy and asks Mr Ferguson nicely, he may be allowed to play. Avram Grant will be the man in charge of the home side desperate to get revenge for his heartbreak in Moscow, if United fail to win then I'll be posting a wind up thread.

    Then at 5:30.......

SPURS ARE COMING, LOCK UP YOUR DEFENDERS AND HIDE BEHIND YOUR SOFAS.

They will show no mercy. They will score and score again. Scoring lots and lots of goals. GOALS from corners. GOALS from headers. GOALS from in the box. GOALS from outside the box. They will keep putting the ball in the net until it has ripped off, they will win by 9, 10, 11 GOALS, Villa I plead you not to turn up to this game, save yourself before it's too late.

    THEN ON SUNDAY

It's three MASSSIVE derbys....wait sorry it's two massive derbies and one rubbish one that's not even a real derby, it's just one of those pretend ones like Bolton Vs Blackburn.

Still, expect drama, excitement and 1-0 wins for the home sides!

Arsenal must win to keep their title hopes alive until February whilst Chelsea can wrap the title up with a victory.

Everton Vs Liverpool is anyone's call, go on call it!

Liverpool are a wounded animal and Everton are this animal:

I'm more excited than this man:

    BRING IT ON!

    Spurs Yikes Crazy

Could be a good game that. We've been good at getting up for the games against the harder opponents this season (not so good at winning against the likes of Wigan, Wolves, Blackburn) - and at home I'd like to think we've got a good shot. But obviously they are going to be very confident after last week.

Sadly, Defoe always always scores against us. So if we are to win, it'll probably have to be 3-2 or something.

Play on their overconfidence to expose their hysterical defence, and boot Lennon off the pitch. 2-1 win.

There are no games in the EPL this Saturday, La Liga has Sevilla-Málaga. Serie A has Genoa-Sampdoria. Bundesliga has Hoffenheim-Dortmund, and Bremen-Wolfsburg.

On Sunday, the EPL has Everton-Liverpool, and Arsenal-Chelsea. La Liga has the ultimate club match in the world. Serie A has Inter-Fiorentina. Bundesliga has Leverkusen-Stuttgart.

    Villa vs Spurs

    It's Good vs Evil
    It's Muslims vs Jews
It's the battle for CL qualification

    You, sir, are ignorant.

Anyone see that? the refs have just gave a pen to Portsmouth for the keeper punching the ball....now this is what happens when Fergie gets put in the stands, they take liberties.

made up for the very soft penalty United got when Rooney fell over and kicked Brown.

Vidic was using Piquionne's shirt as a leash, I guess that's why the penalty was given.

Fletcher should have been sent off there too so you have nothing to complain about. Portsmouth are pwning you.

Just feel it needs pointing out.

Alessandro Diamanti is out injured today..and Jiminez isnt playing either. West Ham are winning 3-0.

Simply, I could not have been proven right more often by West Ham this season.

I don't think giving a non penalty makes up for giving an actual penalty.

Man Utd need a bit of Nani for sure

Despite all the miskicks by Boyce and Bramble in their own box it's Wigan which scored - Rodallega beats DaSilva in physical battle and then scores from tight angle. Bad defending, but quality finish <Ale>

It was surprised to see Kieran Richardson becoming a left back. But at the moment he's playing as left central defender in 3 man Sunderland's defense. What's next???
