    Best Kits

Post by Pierre Littbarski on 08/04/10, 08:13 pm

Some really shit kits about right now - nike, Adidas, Puma are generally fucking awful.

Umbro, kappa and Errea are generally good.

My favourite from England is West Brom - I like the cut, the lack of sponsor and navy is much classier and more unique than royal blue (I feel sorry for Everton, Chelsea, United, Arsenal and 'pool - always destined to have shit home kits - u need s deeper blue or a deeper red)

    West Brom

    My favourites from abroad...

Bologna (H) - a rich man's Barca - much better with the white shorts and darker blue...

    Rubin Kazan (HOME)

Lovely shade of red and a suprsingly good style from Nike.

    FC Sibir Novosibirsk

Can't find an image but its here (I prefer the away which is exactly like this one but where this one is blue the away is white and vice versa)

    Love the bird design !

Really liked the Betis Kappa kits from the 00's too...

What are your favourites either now or of all time ? (club sides)

Used to love the Nantes kit from the early 90s:

Also really like the QPR kits historically and the current one is quite good:

Centenary kit is still my favourite from recent times:

I liked some of the PSG ones from the 90's - partcularly a silver away shirt.

I liked teh Milan one that had thinner stripes and a St. George Cross for the badge - may have been a centenary one ?

Looks kinda gay, I liked it when we had the black 3rd kit some years ago and the yellow European kit was also good.

I think they only used it for Europe. Inter also had a big st georges cross on their away kit a few seasons back for their centenary.

I also liked Barca's centenary kit:

Agree with Pierre that dark colours look better.

Our Navy blue kit is nice, as was last years kit of white with burgundy shorts.

That said, I always had a soft spot for Palermo's Pink kit.

Our new away shirt. I liked this season's a little bit better, but it's alright I think. I realize this is "best kits", but we might as well start sharing new kits for next season. Smile

Don't mind the picture. My boys just like to score alot of goals. Blush
