for once Lothar is right

Ballack is replaceable as a footballer in the MANNSCHAFT, but maybe not as a LEADER

and THAT is the crux

Ballack would TRANSFORM ANY club he joins in the Bundesliga

Schalke are now seen as a LOSER CLUB

Bayer: eternal SECOND, plastic club

HSV: CHAOS club

Wolfsburg: plastic

Ballack would change THAT COMPLETELY

PS

Völler just said they were INTERESTED

HSV are in the running ; Hamburg LOGISTICS BILLIONAIRE Kühne, seems to be prepared to shell out the money

billionaire KÜHNE is now going to flood HSV with money, pending certain agreements

http://www.bild.de/BILD/sport/fussball/bundesliga/vereine/hsv/2010/06/15/klaus-michael-kuehne/milliardaer-kommt-zum-hsv.html

cheers

ie

Ballack to HSV is FINANCIALLY possible

cheers

but really

there are now rumours that ManU are in the race as well

a hunch tells me, Ballack will NOT return to the Bundesliga next season

+

Schalke are no longer interested

could ANY Werder fan tell me why they immediately said they were NOT in the running ??? scratch

they would be THE IDEAL Bundesliga club

Ballack would play in the CL

he already slept in Werder bedsheets

he best-buddies with FRINGS

would NOT cost a transfer fee

and even the SALARY is NOT that important , otherwise, he would have gone to the USA now

Özil is a HUGE Ballack fan and has always raved about playing in front of him

and there is no reason why a Frings-Ballack-Marin-Özil midfield could not work

Borowski would have to move on, but hey, why not

IF Özil leaves, Werder need reinforcements ANYWAY and would have money for bigger salaries

other than the causa-Borowski EVERYTHING speaks for a Ballack deal

so what is Allofs doing ?

and should he get the SACK ?

Leverkusen, Wolfsburg and Hamburg would need extra money from Bayer, VW resp. Kühne. In Bremen we don't have someone who pays our bills for us.

And I don't think Allofs has to ask Ballack's agent to know that we can't afford him like I don't have to ask my local Mercedes dealer to know that I can't afford buying a CLS AMG.

Besides Allofs might need the money for Özil, at least until he finally decides whether he wants to stay or not.

@chrissi

what would it cost Allofs to phone Ballack's agent to see what the terms and conditions would be for the Saxon to join his FAVOURITE childhood football club ?

how MUCH would be THAT phone call ?

and is it really BEYOND WErder's financial means to get a FLATRATE ??

by the way

what do the OTHER Bremen fans think of Ballack potentially joining Werder and what do they make of Allofs CATEGORICALLY refusing to get a FLATRATE ?

Obviously the great majority of Werder fans would be pretty happy if Ballack would join Bremen.

However since Allofs made clear we can't afford him nobody cares anymore about it to be honest.

Bremen CAN afford Ballack

that's my point

he earned himself silly at Chelsea, and will continue to do so in America or the Middle East, once those TWO YEARS at the HIGHEST LEVEL are over

let's assume , HSV are out of contention because the fans now rebel against the billionnaire's money Yikes

let's assume, Ballack would be HUGELY sceptical of a move to Wolfsburg, they do NOT play in Europe and frankly are probably going NOWHERE next season

that leaves Leverkusen in Germany

again: no European football, and Völler has already said that they cannot do SILLY things either

http://www.sport1.de/de/fussball/fus_international/artikel_250510.html

unless Ballack demands a ridiculous signing on bonus, which I doubt

EVERYTHING speaks for Werder

no transfer fee, and maybe a salary just above that of Frings

for merely TWO years

that IS possible

think about it like this

your BIG sponsors could all chip in

1 million per year from Citybank
1 million per year from Kappa, who do not have many stars in their shirts in Germany either

the IMAGE gain for Bremen would be HUGE as well

at the moment, everybody thinks of Werder as the lovable, stylish team that dazzle but rarely win anything (the Holland of the Bundesliga)

with Ballack that imagine would change

you would also suddenly be more in the focus of the Mannschaft

Wiese, Frings, Hunt, Borowski, Marin ALL had a hard time recently

with Ballack there this whole moaning about "not having a lobby" could stop, I think

you could also do what Bayer intend to do

offer Ballack a JOB AFTER his active playing career

in 10 years, when Schaaf retires, he could be the new manager

or merely an ambassador

and ALL of that would cost 4 million Euro per year + a 2 million sign on bonus

= 10 million Euros for two years

a FANTASTIC DEAL

also bear in mind the Özil situation

IF he leaves in the summer, you HAVE a lot of money

but signing Ballack would probably convince him that he should EXTEND for one or two years

a Ballack-Frings-Özil-Marin midfield would be THE ENVY of the Bundesliga

nay

the WORLD cheers

NOBODY would talk about Robbery anymore

cheers

tell me chrissi, what is so wrong about THAT argument ?

I completely agree with you with regard to all the advantages you mentioned.

However I don't think we would get any extra money from our sponsors. Btw Kappa isn't our sponsor anymore, we're now a Nike club, and I doubt Nike would have any interest to give us money to sign a hardcore Adidas star like Ballack. But Adidas on the other side will probably try to bring Ballack to an Adidas club like Hamburg, Leverkusen, Wolfsburg or Schalke.

I believe Allofs when he says Ballack in Bremen would be great, but we can't afford him. Apart from that it seems Ballack's wife would like to live in a bigger city than Bremen. So I guess with regard to the Bundesliga it's between Hamburg and Leverkusen (-> Cologne). A shame, but life goes on...

citybank is now targo bank

they are in the process of reBRANDING

Ballack would help them HUGELY

1 million per year is NOTHING for them

as for Nike: fair enough, ADIDAS would certainly tell Ballack to go for an Adidas club

BUT

for Nike it would be a COUP to piss off Adidas by getting Ballack

they would pay top dollars, maybe even above market value

just like they tried to do by offering SILLY money to get the MANNSCHAFT deal

still

I am SURE that Bremen could afford 10 million over two years even WITHOUT extra money

you might have to sell Borowski for 3 to 4 million Euros

possibly, you also could NOT spend big in the summer on other transfers

no Ziegler, instead , you go for a local lad from Hude or Edewecht

Smile

still

I think Allofs should try to think ouside the box more

if HSV ALIENATE Kühne, YOU should get him

alternatively

ask the Jakobs Krönung brothers to invest

what Leverkusen is to plastic you could become to coffee

Walther J. Jacobs moved the company headquarters to Switzerland in 1973 before he finally sold the Jacobs Suchard AG in 1990 to Altria. Today Jacobs belongs to Kraft Foods.

http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Klaus_J._Jacobs

None of the family does care for Bremen let alone Werder anymore.

I'm sorry, Otto, but maybe you could give us a million or two instead...Wink

I would love to give you two million Euros

but please

let me earn my FIRST million first Smile

the Jakobs family may have sold to Kraft

but they got MONEY in return

A LOT OF WHICH they seem to have given to found a private university in Bremen

maybe, they can create a "Chair for the Art of Attacking Midfielders" and appoint Ballack as their professor

Smile

alternatively, sell the stadium NAME rights for THREE years

"Die Becks-Arena"

or simply

"Prost"

that could finance the Ballack deal Whistle

I guess whatever is left of the Jacobs familiy does live now where it's always warm and sunny and where the taxes are low. Wink

Becks belongs to some big Belgian corporation these days, they don't have much interest in Werder.

Apart from that we don't want to sell the name rights for our stadium. We're playing football in the Weser Stadium, not in some HSH Nordbank or whatever arena.

I think it would be a good idea to merge Hamburg and Schleswig-Holstein though.

@Otto

Did you already notice the newest numbers with regard to Ballack?

- According to "Express Köln", Bayer Leverkusen are offering 12m Euro for two years plus a job in the club's management afterwards.

- Local Wolfsburg media are reporting Wolfsburg are offering 17m Euro for two years plus an advertising contract at VW plus a job as VW representative afterwards.

- The HSV offer is said to be something in between money wise. According to Bild the HSV is out of the race though, because they're such a chaos club.

So you see there's no way Bremen could have financed such a deal.

LATEST reports are that Ballack is NOT going for the money but for EMOTION

and will chose LEVERKUSEN

Yikes

ie

he would earn 12 million for two years

rather than 17 million at Wolfsburg

no surprise, when you have already earned 100 million Euro in your career

which brings us back to BREMEN

-------

could Werder have AFFORDED to pay Ballack 12 million Euro ??

well

that would be the equivalent of signing an "oldish" Frings for 4 million and giving him a 4 million pa deal

if Werder can do it with Frings, then why not Ballack ?

as I said

SELL Borowski

or

do NOT buy Swiss TALENT Ziegler for 6 million

the lad will probably earn between 1 and 1.5 million

so over two years Ziegler would cost only about 3 million less than Ballack (-resale value)

so AGAIN

WErder CAN afford to buy Ballack, IF he only costs 12 million over two years Ale

I wonder what blut makes of this story
