your loverboy KHEDIRA is still there

then we have the BENDER twins as well

twins means TWO of them

don't forget Löw has a crush on Träsch as well

and Werder fans have big hopes for Bargfrede

CAN might have to wait for YEARS

does he have the patience ?

as for Yesil

Gomez will be our TOP striker for MANY, MANY years as well

and Petersen, Lasogga... will ALL get THEIR chance BEFORE Yesil

IF they take it, the "Turk" will have to WAIT for a long time also

thats all future skirmish what we all talking now

no one can say how the players will develop, but right now khedira/bender twins main priority is to destroy

CAN is a driving engine, maybe he has to competete with kroos for a starting place

but i got your point, right now is too much competition, especially in midfield for years to come, that may frighten some players to choose germany

the good thing is that not many players (which are good enough right now), [i am not really into other u-teams right now, maybe i am wrong] have this option to choose another country

the DFB should focus on gündogan, can, yesil and günter, thats 4 players right now, its pretty manageable, thats surely a huge topic for the DFB to keep this players

sammer is already disgusted about the poaching trails from turkey

I watched the U-17 game between Mexico and Deutschland yesterday

our "Turks" predictably did not move their lips

but ALL the Mexicans were singing their anthem with such PRIDE, it was really touching

and let's face

they ain't all Pavarotti

to blut who says that Ekici had decided a long time ago to play for Turkey

well

in THAT case, why did he still play for the German U-teams ?

to those watching the Women's World Cup

Birit Prinz was NOT signing the anthem, neither was Garefekas, despite wearing the captain's armband

our model from Kosovo did not sing it either

with regards to Prinz , apparently, as far back as 2003, our Ladies were asked by the DFB officials to SING THE ANTHEM

Prinz, already the star of the show despite her tender age, simply REFUSED

it turns out her father, to whom she is very close, has a problem with patriotic symbols, as many people of his generation

still

it's time to crack the whip now

the CAPTAIN REFUSING to sing the anthem is really Vaterlandsverrat

I hope Alex Merkel plays for our U-19

PRONTO

http://www.bild.de/sport/fussball/alexander-merkel/stammspieler-in-genua-werden-18842696.bild.html

otherwise he can write off his Mannschaft career and will have to play for Russia

Sammer seems to be angry with him for having refused to play for our youth teams recently

but Merkel claims it was a misunderstanding

still

I remember reading an interview with him not so long ago where he said that he wanted to concentrate on his Seria A career and was therefore not interested in playing for German youth teams

maybe he just meant that if he got the chance to play for Milan in Seria A , he would prefer to do so instead of playing in the U-19, since the level was higher and he needed to take every chance he got to show what he can do

fair enough

still

the lad needs FAR better PR coaching

otherwise, he's finished for Germany

also

once he hears that Sammer is pissed off with him, he or his agent HAS to pick up the phone to clarify the misunderstanding

one wonders how bright he is

Ekici only played a few friendlies for the German youth teams, he never was a key player or anything, never an established German youth player. He decided very early to play for Turkey.

Players like Yesil or Can almost won the damn WC for Germany, beating Brazil while they were at it. Apples and oranges otto, you'll get it one day.

Shocked

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mehmet_Ekici

Ekici has played for the GERMAN

U-17
U-18
U-19
U-20
U-21

Mannschaften

admittedly, he never played more than 4 games for any of those teams

ie

he was NOT a KEY player

still

he REPRESENTED Germany in FIVE different teams over many YEARS

YOU say, he "decided VERY EARLY to play for TURKEY"

Shocked

WHEN did he say THAT ?

scratch

considering he only announced his commitment to Turkey over the LAST YEAR

I don't understand what you are talking about

has NOTHING to do with any kind of fruit salads you seem to dream about

Granted, Sahin is the more clear example in this respect, but for people who are interested in German youth footie, it was pretty clear for a long time that Ekici would decide to play for Turkey. That's probably the reason why the DFB didn't put that much faith in him in first place - he was never more than squad player.

Now, what you're trying to do is to compare him to players like Yesil or Can, youngsters who were dominant key players in a German WC team. Still don't see the difference? Then it's probably time to change your diet, maybe some fruit salad is exactly what you need right now, vitamins are vital for brain activity.

German-born, ethnic Turk, Ömer Toprak

22 years old

has now decided to play for TURKEY

http://sportbild.bild.de/SPORT/telegramm/telegramm,rendertext=20165168.html

the central defender is a U-19 European Champion with Germany

and was once called the biggest defensive talent in Germany by KOHLER, aka Fussballgott

--------------

meanwhile,

German-born ethnic Iranian Dejagah

has finally decided to play for Iran, something he claimed was IMPOSSIBLE in the past

Dejagah has played for ALL German DFB youth teams, from the U-17 to the U-21, where he wore the No 10 shirt

obviously, under Löw he has little chance of playing for the seniors

------

in future , we will lose TRUCKLOADS of "German" talents to other countries

my hunch is, SOON Hannover's Rausch will declare he will play for Russia

followed by Genua's Merkel

------

did anybody follow Lam's SENSATIONAL debut for HSV this weekend cheers

the lad was born in Germany, but is at least partially Chinese (HK)

since competition in his position (offensive midfield) is INSANE in Germany

LAM could easily end up playing for China soon, despite his virtual inability to speak Madarin

wouldn't that be great

a "German" as future captain of China

cheers

Bayern are said to chase another Cottbus talent

sounds like Kobylanski is likely to play for POLAND in future, despite already having played for a GERMAN U-team

http://www.bild.de/sport/fussball/polen/entscheidung-fuer-polen-schon-gefallen-7814082.bild.html

http://www.transfermarkt.de/de/martin-kobylanski/profil/spieler_93853.html

meanwhile, Gladbach talent Neustädter, who has already played for the German U-20 and U-21 teams

is now flirting with playing for the UKRAINE

http://www.transfermarkt.de/de/ukraine-reizt-neustaedter/news/anzeigen_72955.html

----------

the game against Turkey in Instanbul is also rather interesting

Alintop, Toprak, Tore, Törun, Balta and Ekici are all born in Germany

Sahin will join them soon

and Keser, the European scout , already predicts that 4 or 5 real HÄRTEFÄLLE are in the pipeline

presumably

Can and Yesil are part of that group

the ONLY German-Turk he will NOT approach, is the grandson of Uwe Seeler

the German U-15 player has a Turkish father

-----------

Daum is too tolerant regarding integration, me thinks

Sammer is fairly keen for all Mannschafter to sing our ANTHEM

and wants to talk to them, to find out why some of them are not singing it

if they have a good reason, nothing will happen though, it seems

--------

Bierhoff now tells us that they are TOLERANT with regards to the anthem

saying, we don't select players according to their ability to sing

Doh

--------

Anne Friedrich tells Zeit that foreign players really HAVE to learn GERMAN

for communication purposes and in order to allow them to get integrated faster

he even cites HANDBALL as an example

in the German league, foreign players get sent back home, if they cannot communicate in GERMAN somehow within THREE months

Friedrich seems to think that is a good approach

cheers

wow

maybe, Anne is not as left-wing, PC as Löw, blut, allez... after all

in fact

could ANNE save GERMANY ?

------

meanwhile, MAGATH is getting FED up with some 32 year old GREEK central defender he has at Wolfsburg

the lad could not be arsed to learn German and now communicates in ENGLISH with some German teenage co-defender

Magath now wants to give the GREEK a GERMAN TEACHER

saying

the rest of the team cannot be forced to learn ENGLISH just because some of the foreigns refuse to learn German

Ale

in fact

our dear anglo might think about doing some football "DOLMETSCHING", me thinks

did anybody notice that

GÖTZE

did NOT sing the anthem before the Ukraine game ?

as the ONLY "ethnic German"

Yikes

at the last World Cup I noticed that , in general, it was not merely "immigrant" players who did not sing their countries' respective anthems

but VERY OFTEN

the Video Game STAR PLAYERS

Rooney, van Persie, C Ronaldo....

it's frankly frightening to see how quickly Götze is starting to think of himself as the player our hacks call him

a "Jahrhunderttalent" : a talent of the century Doh

he is now also running around with those stupid headphones

and, despite still being a teenager, who still lives at home

sends come-and-get-me- messages to the TOP clubs

despite being a local Dortmund kid who just won the Bundesliga title, is playing in front of 80.000 fans, challenges Bayern for the title and plays in the CL

whilst being a crowd favourite

he is ALWAYS playing to the gallery these days as well

and tells us he dreams of being Justin Bieber for a day

Laugh

SAMMER has to sort the lad out

I cannot remember a German player losing it so quickly

with the possible exception of Prince Boateng

yeah, he's developed quite the attitude rather quickly... some of the fault for that belongs to the press, of course, but I think that it's just a sign of a fragile character, the sign of a boy unable to 'mature into the hype', as it were... he's had two pretty crappy performances as well in the past two Mannschaft games.

Still early days, but him not singing the national anthem is truly disheartening... I want to like this kid. pale

I feel the same way

the DFB

end of story

this is getting out of control

--------------

interesting interview with SAGNOL in Focus

the ex-Bayern star is now the SAMMER of French Football, responsible for the FA Youth Set Up

what he says ain't pretty

he believes the current lot of players have very LITTLE pride in playing for Les Bleus

and points out it may have something to do with the fact that over 40% of ALL of their players have MULTIPLE passports

and therefore little loyalty towards France

he adds that 80% of their supertalents come from the GHETTOS

and that those lads have a completely different socialization than the other 20%

it's almost impossible to speak the same language with them

he sounds pretty desperate

there is no way France will win anything before 2020, he says

then Willy does a Sammer and speaks about a lack of leaders in France

lol!

the LEFT-WING, PC-Focus football hack sounds shocked and tries to steer Sagnol in the right direction

"We thought this talk of LEADERSHIP ... was a typically GERMAN obsession"

Willy is non-plussed, saying that every team needs at least TWO clear LEADERS for it to work

and that the BEST he had ever played with was

EFFENBERG

lol! Biggrin

allez and blut will be LIVID

Whistle

apparently, Willy spends his weekends in Munich where his family presumably still lives

at the FRENCH bakery he often bumps into Sammer

Biggrin

ribery once said that he bumped into Klinsi at HIS French bakery

which means that they all live in Grünwald, I suppose

might be an idea to buy a few Croissants there next Saturday Morning

who knows, maybe I will bump into Rummenigge, Breno, Sammer...

maybe I will overhear them RAVE about Löw Biggrin

to those living /visiting Munich

once the Biergärten are open again, check out the WAWI ( Waldwirtschaft Grosshesselohe )

it's near Grünwald, overlooking the Isar and a little piece of heaven

alternatively, the Menterschwaige, which happens to be fairly near Säbener Strasse as well

Capello having a go at Löw for stealing Turkish players was a bit of a joke , of course

the Italian just did not do his homework

then again, in many countries, nationality is primarily defined by ethnicity

"Italians", certainly, often see themselves as Italians even if they have been living in a foreign country like the USA, Germany... for GENERATIONS

the "modern" idea of taking on the nationality of the country you are born in, is often completely foreign to them

Bayern's Contento was born in Germany, and even played for various German youth teams

yet the second he got a few minutes for the Bayern A side, he talked about playing for Italy some day

and saw Germany only as an alternative , if his "home"-country did not call

Doh

Capello shares this attitude

looks at the Özils, Khediras, Boatengs.. of this world and sees Turks everywhere Smile

in a sense

the above guys NOT singing our anthem, when ALL the "German Germans" do (with the possible exception of Götze now), only confirms the Capellos of this world in their belief that those ethnic kids are really "foreigners" who do not belong and were stolen

I think it was one of our Brazilians on here, who once said that Germany featuring a player called GOMEZ, felt completely weird and wrong

maybe

so better get used to it, you could say

but if those Gomezes do not sing the anthem, you get the impression that playing for Germany feels just as weird to THEM as well

ie

that's it's all a sham

---------

anyway

Sagnol just told us that the French FA now DEMANDS that all the players sing the French anthem

but do they really do so ?

Sammer is almost always on the money, but is wrong when he refuses to make singing the anthem a DUTY

-------

turns out that few countries in Europe are LESS patriotic than us Germans

http://www.welt.de/politik/deutschland/article13813483/Warum-sich-die-Deutschen-selbst-nicht-moegen.html

apparently, the education system is responsible for that

ie

the feminised, PC, 68-er teachers

rather curiously, our girls are less patriotic than the boys

the emphasis of history teachers on the 3rd Reich and the Holocaust seems to be a main reason for this

girls tend to get more emotional

and dream of being Spanish, French or God knows what

failing that, they often marry foreigners when they can (see Klum, Schiffer, Lemper, Potente, ..)

very sad

and as always

the 68er are to blame Grr

Serbia's football association says the midfielder Adem Ljajic has been suspended from the Serbian national team for failing to sing the nationalist anthem before a friendly against Spain.

The association said in a statement that Serbia's new coach, Sinisa Mihajlovic, "sent Ljajic home" because he did not comply with his rules, which stipulate players have to sing the anthem before matches.

The statement says that Ljajic, who is a Muslim, did not sing the anthem "because of his personal reasons". Serbia lost 2-0 against Spain in St Gallen in Switzerland on Saturday.

Ljajic was involved in an incident earlier this month with his former Fiorentina coach Delio Rossi, who slapped him as he returned to the bench after being substituted in a Serie A game. Ljajic had stuck his thumb up ironically.

This thread being bumped made me think that Otto returned... Sad

Serbia is good for this kind of nationalism, though... I'd totally instigate such policies for Germany.

Notice how Reus kissed the DFB badge after his goal against Switzerland? shows heart, and genuine passion for the country he plays for, HIS country... it's different than when merc players do the same for their clubs; Reus actually MEANS it.

@sheffield/xavier

excellent policy by the SERBS indeed

<Ale>

I would kick out EVERYBODY who does not sing the ANTHEM as well

WITHOUT exception

even my man WIESE and Götze also

<Ale>

Poldi just said that he could not sing the anthem since he would have to concentrate on the game ahead

but then added , that he DOES sing the anthem IN HIS HEAD

lol!

I would probably kick the POLE out of the team for the sheer stupidity of his EXCUSES

alone

FAZ now had a weird article written by a POLISH journalist, who says that Poldi once told Polish hacks that even if he had wanted to play for Poland, he NEVER got a chance

apparently, Poldi told the Polish media that his HEART was POLISH

and then complained that no Polish FA official EVER approached him

" what should I have done, call the Polish FA and offer my services ?"

Grr

I have always been the GREATEST Poldi , aka the PRINZ , fan on here

BY FAR

he is my favourite German player by a DISTANCE, together with MÜLLER

BUT

based on current evidence

he HAS to retire IMMEDIATELY

Yikes

--------------

singing the ANTHEM must become an unconditional "PFLICHT"

just like in France and Serbia

Ale

our tennis ladies ALREADY have this policy

and they ALL adhere to it GLADLY

cheers

http://www.bild.de/sport/mehr-sport/fed-cup/6-freundinnen-fuer-deutschland-23737084.bild.html

and remember, our German tennis ladies have foreign roots as well

Petkovic was born in Serbia

Lisicki was born in Germany but the parents come from Poland

and Kerber is also partially Polish too

says Petkovic (my favourite German female sports star at the moment)

cheers

top girl

KICK Poldi, Özil, Gündogan, Götze ... OUT says I

good stuff also from Schweini, Neuer, Hummels, Neuner and , again, Petko

there is no direct link yet

the national anthem issue is getting quite a lot of attention in Germany now

Deutschland's humiliation at the feet of Italia is now largely seen as being the result of a "wrong attitude/the lack of strong characters"

and MILLIONS of Germans

in front of their TVs

had a VERY bad feeling watching our BOYS NOT singing

whilst the Italian MEN like Buffon were almost SHOUTING theirs

many of us had a feeling of foreboding there and then

( personally, that was when I started supporting Italia, not least since even Gomez and Kroos could now barely move their lips; it's spreading like a disease Ale )

and when Italia played a FAR FAR FAR more passionate and aggressive football

next to which the Löw style seemed devoid of ANY interest in the outcome of the game

the conclusion that the ANTHEM was an INDICATOR of how much our lads really WANTED it

was logical

ie

the anthem is no longer seen as a measurement of patriotism

but of PASSION, fighting spirit and Mannschaftsgeist

hence

why MANY MANY people are absolutely LIVID with the NON-singers

and why politicians and Beckenbauer once again call for OBLIGATORY singing

cheers

not that anything will change under Löw Doh

--------------

another interesting/amusing side story with regards to integration

in Germany, the public TV station that shows an international match

tends to show the NEWS during the break Doh

during the Germany vs Italy game, the newscaster was a chap called

Ingo Zamparoni (sp)

apparently, the guy has a German mother and an Italian father but was born and raised in Germany

frankly, nobody would have noticed or cared about this

had the good lad not made a rather silly comment

and remember

during the break, ie after the first half, Italy were 2:0 up

talking about the half-time result, Zamparoni started to SMILE

and said

"may the BETTER team win"

Smile

since the BETTER team clearly WAS winning

but

since the BETTER team was clearly NOT Germany

millions of Germans were somewhat confused

to put it diplomatically

Laugh

ARD now confirms that letters of complaint have reached the station by the TRUCKLOADS

people demand their license fees back

Smile

I bet in MANY countries the TV hack would have to apologize at least

not so in Germany, where he gets quite a bit of support from fellow hacks

former president of the DFB, Meyer Vorfelder, now says

either you sing the anthem or you HAVE to go

Ale

Armin Harry, the 100 metres LEGEND said the same recently

Ale

even my hairdresser, who was born in Iran but moved to Munich in 1983 and is fully integrated, is disgusted by the "NON-singers"
