Of course he'll want to knock Germany out. Other than the traditional rivalry, there's also the small matter of Beckenbauer's very public criticism which is bound to have pissed off the players, given they've got very little else to do during the day other than play golf, gamble, have sex with African grannies and generally be pissed off at reading the Kaiser laying into the team in the papers.

The same amount you'll need to put on Podolski probably. Higuain and the Argies look like they're going to score a whole lot more.

Podolski Vs Serbia:

6 shots
0 on target
1 penalty miss

Ouch.

Rooney is going to need to have an incredible(y shit) game tonight to beat that... Laughing

Podolski made some great runs and didn't seem like a headless chicken all night. Rooney was abysmal.

Okay we need to count..

Poldi 0

Rooney 0 0

Podolski played better on the field and tried harder, end result leaves him in looking sad also.

bernd

you IS a LEGEND

Very Happy

Poldi missed a penalty against Serbia and failed to score, but he was lively and a genuine goal-threat who put our Balkan friends on the back-foot

ZEROoney, meanwhile, did NOT play,

we did NOT see him ANYWHERE on the pitch

you might argue

BUT

he WAS on the teamsheet

and therefore

TECHNICALLY

DID play

even if nobody can remember anything he did

therefore, the SECOND ROUND of this BATTLE of TITANS

goes to the POLE Biggrin <Ale>

2:0

don't worry, bernd

5 games still to go; this battle is WIDE open, and , no doubt, will keep us on the edge of our seats

Don't be silly Otto

We saw Rooney all over the pitch. How could you possibly have missed the Sunday League footballer fumbling every single ball that came into him.

This is one battle you appear to have won

Exactly, I don't get it. Rooney is the good one. Why is he fucking me up with his bad 1st touches? If he does this again I will no longer defend him when people say he's not in the same league as Messi/Cronaldo because he doesn't have the skill/technique. It embarrassing.
