Pastore the hero for PSG again as he opens the scoring. He outpaced Bacary Kone on the left-hand side of the penalty area before beating Lloris from an acute angle with a shot from his left foot.

Both teams go very close. First Gameiro, then at the other end Gomis had a clear chance with a header from a Bastos cross which he put wide.

Jallet secures the win for PSG in stoppage time. He evaded the attentions of Sissokho and finished from close range at the back post after a freekick was delivered.

Joe Cole scored his second goal for Lille this evening and capped a 3-1 victory against Lyon after coming on as a sub.

And PSG are on the verge of sacking their coach as well. Why is every sugar-daddy owned club so stupid when it comes to managers?

PSG will confirm Ancelotti today. Apparently they have also made a huge offer for Pato, and the player has accepted (according to his agent), and it's up to Milan whether they want to accept the deal or not. Surely they won't sell him, will they?

It depends how much they offer and whether they are really going to buy Tevez,if I was an AC Milan fan I would rather keep Pato as he is much younger and has a lot of potential.Tevez will just be a cancer to the club after 2 years when he "starts missing his family again".

What a crazy match between Lille and Bordeaux - from 1:4 to 4:4 and then 4:5, with Obraniak killing his former team. Ludo Fighting

Yeah totally. Usually Lille's defence is quite good and Bordeaux' attack poor. Weird game anyway.

Another crazy match in Ligue 1 - this time it's Lyon and PSG being in full attack mode, it's already 4:3 with 15 minutes to go.

Bastos scored a fantastic goal with volley Yikes

Bit of a bizarre day in France...leaders and 3rd placed Montpellier both drew against relegation battlers, so it's great news for PSG.

Lyon and Marseille both lost.

Spurs have been linked with a move for Lloris. I've heard good things about him but never really watched him. Is he worth signing? And most importantly, does he command his box? Seeing Friedel rooted to his line all season has made me demand a proactive replacement keeper.

worms.

Lloris is quality but I don't think he would want to move to Spurs,a player of his class deserves CL football every year.I'm not trying to WUM here,I'm being serious it would be a bad move for his career as he has the quality to play for the absolute top clubs like AC Milan etc.

Lloris would be good for Spurs providing they get CL. Even so, a keeper of his magnitude will command a fee of around 20m euros surely? All this without even talking wages. I'm not sure what Spurs' budget would be like, but there can't be a lot left after that?

I don't think you're being a WUM at all - I agree. As I said, everything I've read puts him up there as one of the world's top goalkeepers, so I don't see him moving to a club that will finish 6th in the DPL this year. Even if we somehow snuck into 4th spot I still don't think he'd sign because, as you said, he's good enough for an ESTABLISHED CL side.

Does anybody know the deal with Gourcuff?

I know he recovered from an injury around October/November time but he's still only made around 10 appearances this season scratch

It's not as if Lyon are blessed with creativity either.
