I still think we are 1 signing from being a champions again, but RM dont look so convincing, so i say Barcelona again.
As for topscorer, Villa will hit the 40 goals mark.

I am fairly confident with the prediction IF we sign somebody like Masche... if not, then we will end up a Spanish version of Arsenal and end second.

stop doing the players and team such a disservice by comparing the to arsenal. i think you guys are just worried about jose.

Pep always has a core group of 14/15 players that he always uses, everyone out side that damn near never players, he feels he has that this season and is willing to let the youngsters develop.

Believe in pep, he has probably realize that his signing tends not to work out, and that the players he promotes from the cantera always does, so he is going with the tried and tested.

Easy now.... So you would be happy with Oriol covering for Busquets for 2-3 months in case of an injury... or playing away against Atletico with a midfield of Thiago- Busquets - JDS because of suspensions?

busquets back up is very much needed, so i will give you that one

The odds of the 2nd, is highly unlikely

Buy i would be happy with playing atletico with this

    -----JDS/Thiago----Busquets---Keita

    ----Messi------Ibra----Villa

Remember that Pep said after the Sevilla game that playing with 4 youths in the team was hardly ideal. I think we can have at most 2 of these kids in a team at the same time. Which means that Adriano, Maxwell and Alves will for sure be played out of position from time to time due to suspensions and injuries. I am very much against that practise as I think it takes a truly great player to perform outside his position.

Let's also keep in mind that the only defeat last year was when we were away to Atletico...not only our bogey team, but also the only match we played an experimental back 4 due to injuries and suspensions. So I'm definitely not very optimistic about this season if we don't sign at least 1 or 2 more players.

adriano and maxwell are jockers in the squad, alves will never move from playing on the right.

Bar the copa i don't think you will see more than 1 of them in the starting XI at the same time, even due to injures r suspensions unless

Busquets,Xavi,Iniesta and kieta all going down at the same time is unlikely.

I'm not for blooding all of them at the same time, but i have no problem with one are two of them being in the XI, very few games just not in the same position.

So if one starts in the midfield, then fontas starts in the defense, no thiago and JDS.

give them a few minutes and by the time February roles around, you all will be loving them.

atletico always as our number at home, so even with our best team we still would have lost and one must remember that, the team that played didn't feature many youth players only bartra i believe came one off the bench and he did well if memory serves me right.

All you have to do is beat Real Madrid at home and get a favourable result at the Bernabau. Does not seem that unlikely to me.

I must say real are going to be sick on the counter next season, pep will have to come up with something to counter it like he did in for away leg of the classico last season.

must say i can kind of see the two team having similar seasons like the one they did last season, breaking all sort of records.

real are better on paper than they were last season an with the addition of villa we are as well, just lacking a bit of depth, but that has been the case since pep took over.

    Probs. lol!

No, I think he will be ok but Pedro Leon has been outplaying him in preseason and Mourinho isn't going to play him simply because he cost a lot of money.

I think Barça will start off the season stronger and open up a points lead as Madrid's players take time to adapt to Mourinho's tactics. They'll win games, but not impressively or by big margins, and mostly by not conceding many. Then as the season goes on, their bigger squad will come into play as they gain understanding amongst themselves and improve their play, and I think they'll finish more strongly. Weak 2nd half of the season is a usual occurrence for Barça stretching back to Rijkaard's years (apart from his first season). So at the end it could be quite tight.
