looks like leverkusen will buy wollscheid from the surprise team nürnberg

ekici is on loan from bayern, gündogan will most likely join HSV

Reus from gladbach will most likely join another club too

while mainz will lose schürrle and holtby, the young talents develop in smaller teams and join then the bigger one

thats the circle i like Wink

leverkusen will have a hell of a talented team next year (they also get schürrle), wollscheid is one of the best defenders of the bundesliga this year, but talent alone brings you not further in the CL, the BVB will also have some learning years ahead, if both teams are clinical enough infront of the goal they will have a chance in the cl, because in footballing terms i have no doubts that they are cl worthy

unless Bayern clinch 3rd spot, we will have HUGE problems in the CL next season Yikes

Dortmund
Leverkusen
Hannover
Schalke

have NO chance of reaching the later stages, unless they are very lucky

-----------

a quick look at the Restprogramm of the various teams DOES worry me though

Bayern now play Leverkusen Yikes

and will play Stuttgart on the last day

and by the looks of it, VfB could fight for survival then

Hannover really COULD keep 3rd place and kick Bayern out Yikes

----------------

also

watch out for Leverkusen

Klopp may be celebrating every DRAW as if it was a 3-pointer

but a DRAW only gets you 1 point and the lead over Bayer has shrunk to 5 points Yikes

the title really could be decided on the LAST DAY cheers

so what's everybody's guess

1) will Dortmund see their title chase THROUGH ?
2) will Bayern overtake Hannover to qualify for the CL ?
3) will Magath manage to keep Wolfsburg in the 1.Buli ?

-----------

fantastic to see Ballack getting better with EACH game

together with Vidal , he was the best Bayer player yesterday Ale

and what a MONSTER game by WIESE cheers

Bayern REALLY should think of getting HIM instead of Neuer Ale

wow

this board is really DEAD these days

no discussion about the EXCITING recent developments AT ALL

--------------------

anyway

the causa BALLACK still keeps me on here for now

Kicker made him the MAN OF THE MATCH this weekend cheers

and BILD's U-Turn is equally dazzling

they have dropped their "Ballack is PAST line" campaign and now believe that the TITLE race is between

Klopp and Ballack

http://www.bild.de/sport/fussball/juergen-klopp/schnappt-michael-ballack-ihm-die-schale-weg-17374214.bild.html

cheers Laugh Ale

what a fickle bunch

usually, Lerverkusen start their seasons BRILLIANTLY

and then CRASH in the second half of the season

now that Ballack is getting back to this best and LEADING from the front, they build up steam towards the end of the TITLE-CHASE

cheers

Ballack added the STEEL and PURPOSE they did not have in the past

in THIS FORM, Löw has no choice but to bring Ballack back into the MANNSCHAFT cheers

all the other DMCs ( Khedira, Rolfes, the Benders, ...) are a SHADOW of Mickey now

I wonder what allez makes of all that Whistle

---------------------

not that anybody still cares on here

but

Sammer's DFB fast-stream coaching clinic for ex-stars is about to start near Munich in a week or so

MANY of Germany's biggest stars intend to get their badges to join the ever growing group of promising Bundesliga managers

it's a WHO's WHO of world footlball

which of the following stars getting their badges now do you think will ENRICH the various Bundesligen with their managerial skills ???

1. Effenberg
2. Scholl
3. Kahn
4. Lehmann
5. Bernd Schneider
6. Tarnat
7. Wörns
8. Oliver Bierhoff Yikes
9. Lars "Wunderkind" Ricken
10. "Was erlauben STRUUUUNZ"?

??????????????????

and bearing in mind that MANY of those NEW Bundesliga managers that now DAZZLE the league had very LACKLUSTER careers as players ( Klopp, Tuchel, Dutt, Stanislwaski, Slomka, the Hoffe manager with the funny name....)

can those ex-stars still CUT it at a time when CONCEPTS and IDEAS seem to rule the waves ?

feel free to ANSWER , rather than merely READ, those questions

hat alles noch selbst in der Hand. Die nächsten vier Partien spielt die
Elf von Felix Magath gegen direkte Konkurrenten, am letzten Spieltag
geht es gegen Hoffenheim aus dem Tabellenmittelfeld.

Only caught Werder at the weekend. Not quite sure what I'm meant to "make" of decent performances from Ballack, as if I'm supposed to be an opponent of his scratch

Jens, Schnix, possibly Scholli, Micha I can see having a good future as managers.

Borussia have the easier run-in. We shall see...

Lucio 7m, Mesut ~15m and now Nuri €6m

Mou must be thinking German clubs are completely bonkers. It boggles the mind that we give quality players away for such a pittance. Doh

mesut - thats the normal way when only 1 year left in contract, happened to many players before
sahin - thats a real dullness from zorc, why has he included such a clause, at this time sahin was far away from a player which could claim for such a clause

Stuttgart on course for a hugely important win. They're 0-3 up against Köln. A really surprising position considering how poor they've been, and how good Köln's home form usually is. The latest goal was a penalty, and a farcical decision from the referee. The ball was blasted at a defender from close range and hit his elbow which was tucked in to his body. It should never have been awarded and the Köln players were furious. It's getting very fractious now.

St Pauli have just equalised against Wolfsburg in another important game at the foot of the table.
___________

Köln pull one back. Stuttgart have twenty minutes to hold on. If results stay the same as they are there would be a bit of a gap opening up between them and the teams in the relegation places.

There is truth in this, obviously. However, it needs to be said that the Bundesliga has never really been a 'selling league', in contrast to Portugal. The Portuguese clubs need those transfer revenues to finance their squads, it's an important part of their overall strategy, while Bundesliga clubs, even smaller ones, are more geared towards revenues from merchandising, ticket sales etc.

A lot of talented young players coming through these days, but most clubs don't produce them with the primary intention to sell them abroad in the near future and make a profit. It's more about strengthening your team.

This may and probably should change in the coming years though. I expect the demand abroad to increase considerably. Prices should rise as a consequence, and hopefully because Bundesliga managers have learned from the past.

Hi gunner, thank you. I expect some major changes this summer, as quite a few players contract's run out, others will leave etc. However, it remains to be seen if this will actually be to the benefit of the team and club. I've kinda lost trust in our current management as far as spotting talent and being reasonable with your spending is concerned.

Can't get much worse than this year I guess, and the team will have some time to grow with no European football to 'distract' them. Time will tell.

I'm glad that Bayern seem to be back on track. No offence to Hannover, but I definitely prefer them over Hannover to represent the Bundesliga in the CL next season.

Mainz and Hannover in the EL isn't exactly ensuring either, especially since Mainz will lose quite a few key players this summer. But their coaches know their stuff and may cause a few surprises in Europe next year. The clubs have deserved it for sure.
Fortunately, Schalke should be in there though, as I expect them to win the Pokal.

Being more direct isn't necessarily 'counter attacking', it all depends on the opponent, too. But Bayern really needed to be more direct, especially with the pacy players they have at their proposal. Would have never happened under Van Gaal.
