Awesome! Now all we need to do is buy Julio Cesar and De Rossi and Mourinho won't have to put any Spanish players in the team. cheers

More rumours!

*Arsenal and Liverpool hoping to solve their goalscoring woes by signing Bojan! Laughing (according to the Daily Mail)

*Benfica still have making a permanent deal for Salvio still on their agenda but Atletico will only sell him for 15m euro.

*Real Sociedad are interested in Trezeguet and Nihat.

*Pablo Piatti who had been linked strongly with both Atletico and Malaga now has two more suitors: Wigan and Lille.

*Malaga are trying to finalise deals for Joaquin (offering 2,5m whilst Valencia want 5,5m), Lucho Gonzalez, Lucio, and Ignacio Monreal this week. Shocked

*Barcelona closer to signing Kiko Femenia for 4m euro. Hercules had told the player they weren't selling but rumour has it that they have been "convinced" to accept the offer. Whatever that means...

*Mallorca negotiating with Greek right back Giourkas Seitaridis who is out of contract with Panathinaikos. He was pretty sh!t when he left Atletico a couple seasons ago, not sure how he faired when he went back to Greece.

*Coentrao in exchange for Garay + 25m euro will be announced this week. Sad

RUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUMOURS!

*Valencia being linked with Santos right back Jonathan Cicero. Unai Emery is wanting to replace Miguel and Cicero has the advantage of already carrying an EU passport.

*Marcelino looking to bring in players he has worked with previously including Giovanni Dos Santos (Racing), Ezequiel Garay (Racing), and Ikechukwu Uche (Recreativo).

*Aduriz is being linked with a return to Athletic as one of Urrutia's campaign promises.

*New Atletico manager has apparently requested the signing of Borja Valero. Valero was highly influential at Villarreal last season but really came to prominence under Manzano at Mallorca the year before.

*Crazy rumour out of AS: relations between Milan and Espanyol must be at an all-time high evidenced by the fact that Milan have offered to sign Ganso and then loan him to Espanyol for a year to allow him to adapt to European football. This after they've already returned Didac. Shocked

*Osasuna have finalised deals for Tenerife right back Marc Bertran and Mallorca centre back Ruben Gonzalez.

*Zaragoza trying to sign a couple of Barcelona B castoffs Abraham and Edu Oriol.

*Dnipro offering 6m euro for Derek Boateng. His contract with Getafe has a 15m buyout clause.

Rumours!

*Atletico looking to move Raul Garcia. Osasuna are dreaming of a spectacular return for their ex-player. Athletic could also be in for the semi-basque midfielder.

*Espanyol have rejected a 17m euro offer from Atletico for striker Osvaldo. He's gonna stay put methinks. Nobody is gonna pay upwards of 20m euro for this guy.

*Getafe still looking for a replacement for Ustari. Initially Valencia reject Miguel Angel Moya was linked to be Getafe's goalkeeper but now Rayo goalkeeper David Cobeño's name is being linked with a move across town. Would certainly cost less than Moya.

*Ex-Valladolid/Barcelona/Recreativo/Getafe defender Mario has signed with Betis. Betis have also confirmed the signing of Francisco Javier Chica from Espanyol.

*Malaga have confirmed the signing of Ignacio Monreal for 6m euro. What a steal. Ale

*More news from Malaga - Lyon deny that they are negotiating for Toulalan but have said they will sell him for 15m euro.

*Valencia are supposedly close to signing Cesar Azpilicueta who wants to return to Spain. They have also been offered Mallorca centre back Ivan Ramis. Ramis is not their first choice but still on the list to replace jokers like David Navarro, Ricardo Costa, Hedwiges Maduro, etc.

*Sergio Canales is not going to accept a loan move and is supposedly pressuring Real Madrid to sell him to Villarreal. Sad

*Valencia president Manuel Llorente has confirmed they are trying to sign Kevin Gameiro, however Valencia are not willing to pay the 12m euro Lorient are currently asking.

*Inter and Juventus joining in the race to sign Giuseppe Rossi. Rossi is a big piece in the transfer market puzzle this summer. His sale (or not) is certainly going to condition Villarreal's transfer campaign and it will also alter Barcelona's transfer targets if he does not land in the Camp Nou which seemed the most likely scenario a couple of weeks ago but is maybe not so clear any more.

*Atletico being linked with Jonathan De Guzman of Mallorca. Supposedly new boss Gregorio Manzano wanted to bring him to Sevilla last January but Mallorca would not sell at that time.

*Athletic striker Díaz de Cerio is being linked with a move to Las Palmas. Never really settled in Bilbao. Had a bad injury and once recovered never looked like getting into the team. Probably will be a loan move.

*SPORT claiming that Arsenal are negotiating for Cesc and that currently Barcelona are offering 30m but Arsenal want 40m. Take it for what you want.

*Malaga close to signing Joaquin for 5m euro. Another great signing if true.

*After negotiations for Jose Angel broke down Barcelona are now turning their attention to Newcastle left back Jose Enrique. Grr

*Bojan being linked with a move to Roma to join up with ex-coach Luis Enrique.

*Betis hoping to finalise a deal for Rayo midfielder Piti next week.

1. So two summers in row Osasuna lost their top full backs and earned nearly 15 milion euros. Don't know how do the contract situations of both players look, but as a selling club they did very poorly.

2. Hopefully it's true and he will become another bargain buy in Villarreal history Ale

I really can't believe Jose wants Neymar. Or Aguero for that matter. Neither fit the profile of his players. Florentino is behind this. Maybe Jose will get angry and f*ck off when he realises even without Valdano he is still not in charge.

More rumours!

*Jose wants to bring Essien to Madrid (of course he does!) but apparently his agent has said that he is happy in Chelsea.

*Palermo saying that they won't sell Pastore for less than 50m euro (i.e. Madrid and Barcelona can f*ck off).

*Galatasaray negotiating with Atletico for Jose Antonio Reyes. He's a bit of a c*nt but had a pretty good year last year. I'm sort of surprised that Atletico will want to let him go. Galatasaray offering 5m at the moment.

*Malaga and Valencia still fighting over the transfer fee for Joaquin. Apparently Malaga are not fussed and are willing to wait a year when Joaquin will be out of contract and can join for free.

*Villarreal and Marcos Senna are getting closer to a new contract. It looked like it was impossible a few days ago and most of the rumours had Senna going to Swansea City. Villarreal wanted 5m euro, the Welsh only offered 3m. Villarreal's initial offer to the player was a one year deal with a 50% pay cut but I think if they offer two years Senna will come back, even at reduced wages.

*Osasuna have signed Tenerife striker Nino. A couple years ago Nino had a pretty decent season in primera. I think he scored 15. Good signing for Osasuna as they have to replace Pandiani.

*Now Aguero's agent meeting with Juve. Safe to say he won't be in Atletico next year. Forlan looks like he will be back though. Has had a lot of good things to say about Manzano and says he wants to complete the two years he has remaining on his current deal.

*Villarreal asking for 12m for Diego Lopez - Atletico apparently want him to replace the (likely) departing De Gea.

*Atletico also trying to sign Borja Valero. He is a specific request of Manzano under whom he played so well in Mallorca two years ago.

*More Atletico news - apparently Manzano does want to count on Tiago. It looked like he would be going back to Juve after a second loan stint in Atletico but now the Indians will look to make his move permanent.

*Atletico also looking at the possibility of Pablo Aimar for their midfield that is so desperately short of creativity.

*Getafe have signed Miguel Angel Moya on loan for the season. Moya did not have a place in the Valencia team and Getafe needed someone to cover for the injured Ustari.

*Valencia trying to sign Mikel Arteta. Everton asking 10m euro for the Spanish midfielder.

*Zaragoza trying to sell players to balance the books. Already gone are Ander Herrera and Gabi. Uche, Obradovic, and Lafita are all reportedly available for less than 5m each.

Not this summer, or the next one. But I think in 2013, if he continues his top form, he will move to Spain like Kaka did.

Kameni-Espanyol: Divorcio total

http://www.sport.es/es/noticias/espanyol/20110615/kameni-espanyol-divorcio-total/1042788.shtml

lol! if it's true that he prefers to play for a team in Cameroon rather than return to Espanyol. Any EPL teams looking for a goalkeeper?

Well they have their own 'sheikh' now but who knows. Not every foreign owner is pumping in the cash. Just ask Racing.

A few rumours:

*Apparently if Udinese sell Alexis Sanchez, their first choice to replace him is Pablo Piatti from relegated Almeria.

*Jefferson Montero is close to moving to Real Sociedad. Supposedly la Real wanted him last season before he went on loan to Levante. This will be another loan deal with an option to buy for the basques.

*Sevilla, looking to add another striker, are negotiating with relegated Hercules to sign Paraguay striker Nelson Valdez. Valdez has a buyout clause of only 5m euro. Also interested are Espanyol, Olympiakos, Mallorca, and Pachuca.

*Atletico still pursuing Espanyol striker Osvaldo but with the crazy money that Espanyol are asking for, Atleti are looking at alternatives with the top two targets being Nilmar (Villarreal) and Dani Guiza (Fenerbahce).

*Zaragoza interested in a number of RM Castilla players including midfielder Fran Rico, winger Juan Carlos, and defender David Mateos. Some rumours suggest that Mourinho is counting on Mateos (to fill the quota of homegrown players) but the consensus was that if he leaves it would be to go on loan for another season.

*Miguel Pallardo who has been on loan at Levante the last couple of season from Getafe is hoping to make a permanent switch. Also Levante are close to renewing goalkeeper Gustavo Munua.

*Cristian Chivu being linked with a move to Villarreal. Shocked Report said he is available on a free but I didn't know that his contract was up already. Maybe one of the Serie A fans can clarify.

*Martin Montoya (Barcelona B) has been linked with several clubs in Primera most notably Valencia and Zaragoza. New Getafe manager Luis Garcia is apparently after the right back as well now that he has some cash to spend after the sales of Parejo, Boateng, and Manu del Moral.

*Election time promises in Bilbao: Josu Urrutia is claiming he will bring Aritz Aduriz back to San Mames. Meanwhile Fernando Macua is promising Mikel Arteta and Raul Garcia.

*Freddie Kanoute has been offered a huge pay increase from swiss club Neuchatel Xamax. Monchi looking at Caen striker Youssef el Arabi as a replacement who had 17 goals in 38 matches in Ligue 1 last year. It is suggested it would take a bid of 10m euro to land the french-moroccan striker.

Do Atleti have debt issues? Why are they selling so many players at once?

I get that Ujfalusi and Forlan are getting old and it would be good to cash in but I don't see why they're selling Reyes. Also, selling this many players at once guarantees that they will struggle next year. I wonder how Reyes will adapt to Turkey given that he couldn't even adapt to England.

Ujfalusi is shit anyway, and Forlan doesn't appear to give a shit for Atleti now anyway. Reyes is a bit of a surprise, but even having a 'good' season last year he was statistically speaking quite poor. If they get 25m for the three it'll be decent business.

If they keep De Gea (unlikely) and reinvest some of the Aguero + above three money it'd be a decent summer for them. They have some decent talent at the club already like Koke, Pulido, Felipe, Elias, Dominguez, Godin, Joel, Asenjo, Cedric, Suarez and maybe Salvio. Bring in a striker or two, and a creative player they'd do ok.

Cedric????? He's sh!t. Plus he's already gone to Numancia.

I think Forlan can still be useful. There was friction between him and QSF but Manzano says he wants him to say and Forlan has come out in the last couple of days saying he wants to be part of the new project so maybe the change will revive him. Of course, he could be past it too. Biggrin

I can see you euro people are not getting what Neymar is. Neymar is the kind of player that would fit any team in the world. He would be a starter in any team in the world.

He has one big problem: he's a diver. But he's so good it becomes a small problem.

Has anyone here seen me hyping any Brazilian player before? I don't think so.

pff!

I never said he was a genius. I said he was very good. Hyping a player is not the same as saying a player is good. Big difference. By the way, Neymar is on another level.

I'm already convinced. Imo he is one of the best strikers out there so I can't see why Mongrel would be wrong on this one. Bar his injuries he would probably have done an Kaka like transition.
