Well, as I said before, I think Madrid can get something out of this game. Busquets-Pique is desperately slow, and we'll miss Puyol who can really handle Ronaldo well. The Madrid midfield is built to stop Barça playing, and with 3 more games to come, the focus will be on avoiding injuries and cards, rather than desperately seeking a winner.

yeah from the 4 games this is the most unimportant game for barca

but if they can shock madrid in this game, then they should be more relaxed Wink for the other three, anyway REAL is scared of barca, i have no doubts about that

Apparently Puyol starts Shocked cheers

Happy to hear that but I hope it doesn't cause him to get injured again...the games to come are much more important. As long as he has no relapse, his selection could be the difference between a draw and a Barça win Ale

According to SPORT:
Valdés
Alves, Piqué, Puyol, Adriano
Xavi, Busquets, Iniesta
Messi, Pedro y Villa

No Ozil? Doh

But according to the statistics RM have not conceded a goal in games without Ozil in the first XI. Biggrin

Here is the confirmed lineup:

------------------Casillas

S. Ramos-----Albiol-----Carvalho-----Marcelo

-------Khedira----Alonso----Pepe

Di Maria---------Benzema------------Ronaldo

Surprised to see Benzema in there. I would have thought Mourinho would stick with Adebayor. Although to be fair, the two goals against Tottenham apart, he has been pretty regular.

Ozil on the bench, pepe in midfield. WTF? Madrid conceding to play defensive at home? Controversial

Some sloppy medium range passes from Barça to start off with...

Madrid doing a good job of pressure from the from the front so far...forcing Barça to lose the ball by trying longer balls.

The amusing thing is that bodycheck on khedira was far less obvious then the 3 that Ramos did on bale at the bernabeu, yet not a single yellow card or even free kick was given on that particular night. Refereeing consistency Ale
