You've got the goal you want Kroos. Gladbach are leading courtesy of a Reus goal.

Unbelievable atmosphere in Dortmund now, especially with Dede coming on for the last few minutes. What a reception!

It's all over in Cologne, so Dortmund are confirmed as champions!

Gladbach have given themselves hope of escaping relegation, whilst denting Hannover's CL hopes. Stuttgart should be able to breathe more easily after their win as well, and Mainz have pretty much secured European football next season.

An early goal apiece in Munich. I missed the opener, but Schalke's equaliser came from woeful defending from a corner.

Congratulations again to Dortmund, now that it is official. Deserved champions, best team in the league no doubt. Ale

If they can keep their key players together, which it looks like they will, they may do well in Europe next season. But both the (very young) team and Klopp need to gain more experience on the international level first.

I always said that potentially, Dortmund was the biggest 'sleeping giant' of them all. They have come a long way since they almost went bankrupt at the beginning of the millennium. Ever since, they've done a terrific job rebuilding the club, laying the foundations for a prosperous and successful future. Unlike the plastic club Wolfsburg, Dortmund have a great tradition and huge fanbase, a record breaking 80.000 fans on average in the stadium every week.

2-1

Mueller scores after pouncing on a loose ball in the Schalke box. A little fortuitous because Robben's free-kick was awful and straight into the wall, but Mueller reacted quickly to score.
______________

3-1

Schalke's 'no defending' policy is working as well as it did against Man Utd earlier in the week.

what happened to schalke

rangnick the pussy fucked up the schalke psyche, they are again toothless and have no confidence

schalke remembered me on the early chelsea years from 2005, always running, pressing and physical very strong, all is gone now

If Bayern had played like this all season, which likely would not have been possible under the overly conservative / dogmatic 'possession first' doctrine of Van Gaal, they definitely wouldn't be fighting for third spot now.

So Bayern will sign a fullback or two this summer. Do you really want to let Contento go then? Wouldn't mind us signing him. At all.

i hope we buy srna or contrao

we need world class material in the defence, fullback is a very important role in the modern game, bayern should not make the same mistake again as they did the last years

i hope we loan out contento for 2-3 years if its possible Very Happy

thoug i believe our defenders not that bad, only the vangaal system fucked everything up

congrats to Dortmund Ale

well done and thoroughly deserved

good to see the club with the Löw REJECTS doing well : Hummels, Weidenfeller, and even to a lesser extent Kehl

the question now is whether Dortmund can build momentum , or whether it all falls apart

Sahin is likely to leave, Güdogan will come; let's hope they also sign KLOSE and Frings Smile

Klopp is now THE leading contender to succeed Heynckes at Bayern or Löw at Deutschland

IF Dortmund can keep Klopp for years to come, they will establish an ERA

------------

Bayern are now VERY likely to clinch the last CL spot Ale

the idea of Gomez, Schweini, Müller, Kroos, Lahm, Neuer, Klose, Boateng, Bieber... NOT playing in the CL, whilst the Hannover players would have complained about the "Doppelbelastung", the distraction of the CL, would have been too much to bear

-------------

another excellent game for BALLACK Ale

allez must have been LIVID Smile

------------

Wolfsburg now look likely to remain in the 1- Bundesliga Ale

ditto Bremen and Stuttgart, contrary to what a doomonger on here may believe Whistle

--------

still

next season could be tough for Kroos' calculator

a young and inexperienced Dortmund in the CL scratch

Vizekusen under inexperienced DUTT with a youngish team scratch

Mainz (without Schürrle and Holtby) and Hannover in the Europa League scratch

I guess Bayern will have to WIN it in Munich next year Ale

but REALLY

which league in the world is as EXCITING, EVEN and COMPETITIVE as the BUndesliga, me wonders cheers

i dont think that germany has to fear italy in terms of 5 years ranking

it does not look better in italy

they only have two proven competetive clubs for the cl (and both of them need new legs to get near the final), the rest is new at this stage when you look at the current table

Bayern are a wc goalie, 1-2 good defenders and maybe another alternative for the central midfield away from a CL winning team. A talented young alternative to Robben & Ribery wouldn't hurt either.

Tymoshuck, another player not exactly liked by Van Gaal, has given them balance and steel in midfield, allowing Schweinsteiger to impose himself on the game like he hadn't for a while.

In the good old Bayern tradition, they could steal Höwedes in addition to Neuer from Schalke, the good old killing two birds with one stone approach (weaking the competition while strengthening your team). They are supposedly interested in Vidal, too, who would be that central midfield alternative I mentioned. Add a good fullback to the picture, and they're pretty much set. Only a talented winger / dribbler like Reus could be added to the bench as an alternative to the often injured Ribery and Robben. What a waste, but that's Bayern to you.

With these additions and a motivated Heynckes as coach, they will be quite formidable again.

Don't forget Schalke in the EL (provided they can beat Duisburg in the Cup final)... they will probably do better than Mainz and Hannover if they can find a decent coach.

I don't understand

you think Schalke will sack Rangnick ?! scratch

---------------

so where do we stand on the relegation battle ?

can Gladbach still escape automatic relegation and overtake Frankfurt ?

could Eintracht REALLY play in the 2- Liga next season ?

------------

@blut

stop being silly with regards to Ballack Shocked Evil or Very Mad

Leverkusen were a million times better than Cologne DESPITE losing

Köln probably had two shots on goal and scored two as well

Leverkusen were pushing for 90 minutes, had a penalty disallowed, hit the woodwork once or twice...

and BALLACK was the EPICENTER of the action

how you figure THIS is an AGENDA is BEYOND me

Neutral scratch

Ballack was MOTM: end of story

and would even have scored had it not been for Rensing's sensational save

even the Ballack HATING media acknowledged his good game: Welt called it "ein starkes Spiel"...

by all means prefer Khedira over Ballack: for his youth and potential and ability to run ALONE

it's the WRONG decision, but you could make a CASE for it

BUT

and this is a BIG but

BE FAIR and HONEST
