Uruguay finish it off with a 4th (offside, obviously Rolling Eyes )

Damn. It'd be nice to see one of the minnows like Peru or Venezuela qualify, as it's never happened in my lifetime, but I'm not sure if Brazil 2014 will be the one. Venezuela doing alright after that shock early win over Argentina but still outsiders.

Happily, the two minnows meet in Lima on 7th September. I'll be watching for sure ok

Biggrin Told you it was either 3-3 or 4-2 for Uruguay with a counterattack after we had come close and having everyone pushing for the tying goal. The last 15m it was basically Chelsea vs Bara with them Uruguayans hanging on for dear life and catching something at the death.

Did you notice the huge difference in class between this game and the Euro game being played simultaneously?

Definitely better passing in midfield. Peru lacked quality when it came to final ball.

We are not firing on all cylinders, we do not play to our potential because of the corrupt fuckos ruining Peruvian football since the mid 80's. TFS! <Ale>

Good observation! we are missing Pizarro, Farfn and Vargas up front. That's a lot of firepower we can not replace. It's only Guerrero and Ramrez duking it out with our opponents. <Ale>

If We (Croatia) played Peru, we'd watch them pass the ball sideways in midfield for a few minutes whilst Puro jizzed his pants over their superior technique before stepping in to nick the ball and then putting Jelavic through with one measured pass. Repeat and win easily by a couple of goals, with Puro blaming the corrupt refs. Truest story you'll hear all year Laughing

It seems Pizarro, Vargas and Farfan have been missing now since 1982 mon amis Laughing

I did enjoy us (Croatia) strolling to another victory at an international tournament - not bad for a country which has only been a recognised independent nation competing since the 90's, and in that time this "Euro Shite" has played in a World Cup semi final, something Peru has not managed in 100 years. Shite indeed mon amis Ale Laughing

I watched the Uruguay-Peru game, really entertaining and Peru did fantastically to come back to 2-2, massively unlucky for the Uruguay opener as Coates clearly didnt cross the line, the Peru equaliser was a bit scrappy also after a long throw and a bit of a scrap but Guerrero did well to react quickly to the knock down.

Terrible Peru marking from the free-kick for Uruguay's third though, really slow to react and get back into positions.

Good game though, i enjoyed it.

There are no Andorras, Faroe Islands, Northern Irelands and over thirty similar Euros in South America.

Last place (for now) Per in South America WC qualifiers, would win UEFA's groups A (Croatia's), would fight Italia's for group B supremacy, would give the Germans all they can handle for group C, DEFINITELY WIN THE DUTCHIES'S group D, BEAT THE SHITE OUT OF THE SWISS AND NORWAY in group E, clear toss up with Portugal and Russia in group F, HA HA HA HA HA in group G lol! , SMASH THE SHITE OUT OF ENGLAND for group H, and group I would be tough for us, but we would beat the French in Paris like in the past and in Lima too, Spain would probably beat us at the death in Spain (like always) and hang on for a draw in Lima. <Ale>
