Ashley obviously wants rid but hasn't wanted to pay him compensation.

It's such a weird relationship we have with pundits and the media, we've never been right to want a manager out, Palace were apparently right to sack Warnock for form that Pardew has shown on a few occasions, worse form even. Last night with that freak Collymore it was basically hatred, he's got a real problem with us, he even started complaining at one point that people look for statistics to back up their argument, what a mong.

What people don't get about the Pardew debate is that it's over, the stats have been laid out for everyone for a while and if you look at them there's only one conclusion you can come to, and if you look at them and still think he should keep his job then you must see him as unsackable.

This covers the last 2 and a half seasons.

I suppose they'll say the season before we finished 5th, ignoring the fact we were an own goal away from being relegated with a team of internationals the following season.

When Newcastle end up 15th this season It's going to be glorious watching Kimmy pretend this is a good move for the club.

Who knows what will happen, we might end up with a caretaker until the end of the season, so your prediction might be correct. As long as we brought in a competent manager in the summer I wouldn't mind that. Ale

Was watching SSN yesterday morning and Ray Parlour gave his opinion on Pardew's move, can't really blame Kimmy for being so wary of the "Cockney Mafia". Blamed the attitude of Newcastle fans more than the shortcomings of the guy.

The only one on our side is Colin Murray. Laughing

It will be interesting to see what the view is if Palace get relegated, problem is he usually starts strong so he might keep them up, which will be seen as him proving us wrong.

I don't get is the talk of abuse, they're all saying he has had to "suffer abuse", other than some pretty tame protests in the ground i've not heard of anything bad. This is also a guy that called another coach a fucking old c**t for no reason, pushed an official, nutted a player, and is constantly pumping his fist at the opposition bench. confused

The man is clearly a massive bell

de Boer said no to Newcastle it seem..calling it a sleeping giant with awesome fans, but its not the club that he wants..

Fucker wants Barca, but honestly I think Koeman has the better papers now.

It was never going to be de Boer, I think most of the rumours are just pushed by betting sites. It's looking like it's going to be Remi Garde, which will burn the pussies of the xenophobic pundits that want John Carver or Steve Bruce.

I doubt it's McClaren, for some reason the British press insist on pushing British managers while foreign press talk about us actually interviewing foreigners. If we're waiting 6 months for someone they have to be good, not some Englishman that has failed at more clubs than he has succeeded at.

We also seem to be signing this Dele Alli and then loaning him back, so we'll have 3 players on loan in the championship that we could do with. Maybe they'll get even more championship football next season.

EDIT: NOPE!!!!

Things are desperate up here.

Advice on how to survive from a POW

Carver believes he's the best coach in the league

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/32627362

"I still feel I am the best coach in the Premier League,"

ok

He's also waving a letter from Coloccini at the press and appears to be losing his mind

In other news we've been listed as the 18th most valuable club in the world. lol!

Oh FFS! what any Peruvian club would give to have Newcastle's resources and challenge the rich Brazilian and Argie clubs in Copa Libertadores.

Newcastle are punching well below their weight. Solano once said that Newcastle has the potential to challenge and beat the very best in England. I believe him, but the club needs a new owner and coach.

Allow me to introduce you to Ajegroup as new owners (they're billionaires many times over but would not touch Peruvian football due to its corruption) and Rafa Benítez as the manager of course.

Would you like me to talk to Solano so that he could talk to Newcastle? I'm related to the Añaños through my paternal grandmother - she was first cousins with the patriarch of the corporation.

Lets not overestimate Newcastle's potential, they are from a relative small area, and a rather poor one as well. And its not like they say in Goal 1 its only the toon up here, there is also Boro and Sunderland. But yeah itshould do better then they did for the last century or so.

They should be up fightin with Spurs every season.

Newcastle's territory is Tyneside and Northumberland which adds up to over 1 million people, Boro fans aren't common and Sunderland don't really compete. A successful Newcastle would fill a stadium much bigger than SJP. It is a poor area though, billionaires would rather invest in clubs like Charlton or Fulham in London.

Btw guess who is injured again! cheers

Siem de Jong!!!

He started his carreer well off, not a great player, but worked hard, and scored in the bigger games.

But yeah like you said, you need a Billionaire these days in the EPL.

Pearson seemed like a really normal laid back guy at Newcastle, kind of like a cool dad. If he keeps them up he's done a good job though.

Yes, but we dug up Joe Kinnear and hired him twice, and hired Pardew after he'd been getting sacked by lower league clubs. Bruce is a lazy option, ex-pros will support it because he's a jordy and they think that's all the fans want, and he will be desperate enough to do whatever Ashley wants.
