It continues...Biscuits, Iniesta and now Pique.

My guess would be Xavi or Alves next Ale

It's weird that Sergio would want him to come because if they sign Song he'll definitely be out of the XI.

I just don't see this transfer happening to be fair, and unless we get M'Vila which i'm now doubting, I don't want it to happen. A lot of Spanish reports seem to think the deal will go through this weekend though!

If it is a straight replacement with M'vila then I think Arsenal will be better off.

From what I've read Man Utd, Arsenal, Tottenham, and Liverpool have all made inquiries. If that's true I think it would be between you and Man Utd because he would probably opt for a chance to play in CL over not. But supposedly Utd are willing to buy him outright whereas Arsenal (at least initially) wanted him on loan.

From what i've heard, Martinez is going to Bayern? We've been linked with Llorente but I know we won't pay the money.

Sounds like Javi Martinez to Bayern is a done deal although Athletic are denying it. Grr

Llorente is likely going to Arsenal according to the Spanish press.

A real f*cking shame but what can you do.

A few rumours as the summer draws to a close:

*Arsenal have reportedly made a 15m euro offer for Jesus Navas. No way he will leave.

*Valencia are still in the market for a left back after the Didac Vila move fell through. Jose Angel, another target, has gone to Real Sociedad. Now the objective is Aly Cissokho (who impressed me a lot when he first came up with Porto). Apparently negotiations are progressing. Lyon want 8m while Valencia are currently offering 6,5m. Super Deporte thinks the deal will be done before the end of the week.

*Anzhi have are rumoured to have made a 68m euro offer for Falcao. If it were true there is no way Atletico would reject it.

*Feck off Bundesliga!!!!! Another player possibly on the way to Germany - Benat Extebarria who was Betis' standout player last year. F*cking wolfsburg are offering a bunch of sh!t players and cash for him. :Grr:

*With no money to spend and still needing a striker Malaga may be desperate enough to go for a washed up Dani Guiza. I am pretty sure I was the first one on the Dani Guiza bandwagon back in 2007 BUT he was completely useless at Getafe last year. Sad times in la Rosaleda...although if they can somehow qualify for the CL group stages maybe they could make one or two modest signings.

*Godin being linked with Manchester City. Would be a stupid move for him honestly with that squad. Plus Atletico only have two other proper centre backs - Miranda (who isn't that good) and Cata Diaz.

*Mallorca have signed the replacement for Ramis - Anderson Conceiçao from Figueirense. One year loan with an option to buy.

*More unrest in Bilbao. Apparently Amorebieta is stalling on signing a new deal and could force a move yet this summer. No surprise here, there are two or three Bundesliga clubs lining up for the Venezuelan.

*Getafe still trying to sign Alvaro Vazquez from Espanyol. Again the contract situation plays in Getafe's favour. But they are only offering Adrian Colunga plus a little cash, I would have thought they'd need to make a significantly better offer.

*Apparently Celta Vigo have signed Michael Krohn-Dehli who scored the winner for Denmark against Holland in the Euros this summer. Coming over from Brondby, but I think if I am remembering my old FM games correctly he used to play in Ajax as well. Could be a good signing.

*Still a chance that Kaka could return to Milan. Apparently Berlusconi has told Galliani to make one more attempt....we'll see.

A few odds and ends from around the league:

*Malaga are still in the market for a striker. Pandiani (yes, that's how desperate times are in la Rosaleda) had been linked with a move to Malaga but he's just signed a one year deal with Villarreal. Now the rumour is that Malaga will try and sign the mighty Bojan Krkic. Of course now that Luis Enrique is not there to wipe his ass nobody in AS Roma want the little b!tch so he'll probably come crawling back to whichever la liga team will have him. And Malaga look like they have a decent change to make the group stages of the CL.

*Looks like Afellay (nearly as bad of a signing as Sahin) is going to finally be flogged off to the EPL. Probably a loan deal to either Spurs or Arsenal.

*Not directly to do with la liga but supposedly Man City are about to sign Javi (better than Lass) Garcia from Benfica. I might cry.

*Espanyol got another Inter player on loan for this season. Coutinho worked out well for them last term so I will be interested to see how this Samuele Longo kid plays. Bluenine, any word on this kid?

*Also not la liga but Royston Drenthe is apparently going to sign for Besiktas tomorrow.

*Christian Stuani is going to sign for Deportivo. He is ok probably a 10 goal per season sort of player for primera. Between him and Riki and Nelson Oliveira they should have the goals to stay up.

*Urrutia has basically told Llorente and Javi Martinez they are staying, no negotiating, they can only go if their buyout clauses plus taxes are paid in full.

*Chilean midfielder Manuel Iturra looks like he will be the first signing for Malaga this summer. I guess he played in Murcia a couple years back i don't remember him at all but Pellegrini knows him and I think he's in on a free. At the same time, Maresca is on the way out. Back to Italy i guess.

*JDS 99% going to sevilla not that anybody cares.

*Paco Alcacer goes on loan to Getafe but he won't be allowed to play against Valencia. Interested to see what he can do in primera he has looked the part at youth international levels.
