*Apparently Barcelona are out of the running for Jordi Alba and will not go for...wait for it...wait for it......JOAN ORIOL!!!!!!!!!!!! cheers

*Pito Vilanova also wants to sign a CB because he doesn't like Mascherano as a defender. Thiago Silva has said he isn't leaving Milan so the latest player being linked with those catalan silly pricks is Real Sociedad centre back Iñigo Martínez. He has had a really good season and is miles better than Bartra or Fontas or Muniesa. Ale

*Malaga have renewed brasilian centre back Weligton. Meanwhile the sheikh is going to splash for 6 signings for their Champions League debut, according to AS: goalkeeper, centre back, centre midfielder, winger, and two strikers! Should be an interesting summer....

*Atletico are planning to swoop for Montpellier striker Olivier Giroud in the case that they cannot retain Falcao.

*Sevilla will have to sell players in order to finance any new signings. Among those that Sevilla are hoping to sell: Rakitic, Perotti, Trochowski, Medel, and Negredo.

*Getafe have about 100 players on loan this past season. Apparently the are trying to negotiate permanent deals for Miguel Angel Moya (Valencia) and Pedro Leon (Real Madrid). Moya has a 2,5m option to buy on his loan but the problem for Getafe are his wages. Alexis (Sevilla), Masilela (Maccabi Haifa), and Ruben Perez (Atletico) will return to their respective clubs.

*Real Betis want David Barral from relegated Sporting to partner Ruben Castro in attack next season.

*Villarreal really are a shambles at the moment: one report is saying they have to make up 45m euros in their budget through players sales and reduced wages. It sounds like everyone apart from Bruno and Marcos Senna is up for sale. Although if a big enough offer comes for Bruno they would probably sell.

The man knows his stuff. ok

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/sunderland/9265876/Sunderland-striker-Nicklas-Bendtner-faces-uncertain-future-after-he-was-dropped-for-missing-team-bus.html

Sunderland are interested in Athletic Bilbao striker Fernando Llorente, with O’Neill keen to stress to chairman Ellis Short he will need to spend big money on a centre-forward if the team are going to improve. Even then, the Spain international could be out of their price range given his excellent season for Bilbao, who beat Manchester United on their way to reaching the Europa League final last week.

More rumours.......................

*AS, citing reports from O Jogo and Record, are saying that Joao Pereira could be a Valencia player by Sunday. Deal is supposedly worth 5m euro for the Sporting right back.

*Manchester City have approached Athletic Bilbao for striker Fernando Llorente, however, the player is only interested in continuing in Athletic. Ale

*Borja Valero to Malaga could be done in a matter of days. Valero's buyout clause is 10m but because of Villarreal being relegated and their need to bring in cash/dump wages he could be sold for as little as 5m euro. Shocked

*Sevilla want to replace Freddy Kanoute with young Espanyol striker Alvaro Vazquez. Don't know what Vazquez's buyout clause is, probably not that high. Did impress me at times this season. Still quite young.

*RM being linked with Kevin Strootman. Doh All I know is that I trust my man Fey and if he says Strootman is sh!t then I believe him. Ale

*Half of Rayo's team is out of contract at the end of the season! Apparently it will be a busy summer in Vallecas.

*Argentine midfielder David Abraham is negotiating with Getafe. Abraham is out of contract with Basel at the end of the summer and is interested returning to Spain (previously with Nastic).

*Getafe are also trying to land young Valencia striker Paco Alcacer on loan for next year.

*Betis being linked with out of contract Atletico defender Luis Perea. On the way out is Iriney who has rejected a contract extension.

*And lastly...we are signing YAYA TOURE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! cheers Whoop Ale Wink

Today's rumours!

*Barcelona are supposedly interested in Malaga's Isco (for me the best young player of 2011-12). Malaga paid his buyout clause (a paltry 7m euro) last summer to snatch him away from Valencia. His current buyout clause is 20m (and is going up by 1m euro every summer through 2016). Can't really see the point of him going to Barcelona since their midfield is already packed full.

*Valencia are

*Craziest rumour I've heard in a while: Milos Krasic to Betis!!!!! I know he is probably leaving Juve but I would have thought he would go to England. Seems like there has been interest from the likes of Liverpool and Spurs but maybe he likes the weather?

*Sevilla are reportedly offering 8m euro plus two of their canteranos (Luis Alberto and Luna) for Borja Valero. Sevilla's midfield is dreadful but I think they will have trouble outbidding Malaga.

*Sevilla also close to landing Villarreal full back Angel Lopez. Would be a decent signing. Right back is still a problem for Sevilla. Caceres is returning to Juve which leaves only Coke Andujar who didn't exactly make himself the automatic choice this season.

*Ruben Pardo to Real Madrid is a rumour that keeps coming back. I've not really seen him play to be honest. My guess if that if Castilla get promoted to the second division, he will go there and then end up in Portugal after a couple of years. Seems to be the trend any way. Sad

*Malaga trying to reinforce their midfield with Mohamad Diame of Wigan. Of course Diame played with Rayo before moving to England. He is out of contract this summer so it would be a bargain for a pretty decent squad player. Valencia and Sevilla both interested as well.

*Simeone has asked for 4 signings this summer. 1) Left back - Antonio Lopez is leaving and so that only leaves Filipe Luis. Apparently they are interested in Guilherme Siqueira from Granada who scored a bunch of goals this season. The other possibility is Jose Manuel Casado from Rayo. 2) Midfield - Simeone wants two midfielders especially since it is looking more and more like Diego will not make a permanent move. Borja Valero, Jose Manuel Jurado, Younes Belhanda, and Jamel Saihi all being linked with a move to Atletico. And just now Emre Belozoglu (remember him?) is said to be in negotiations. I think he is on a free this summer. Will be interesting to see if there is anything to it. 3) Striker - regardless of whether or not Falcao leaves Simeone wants another forward. They have Diego Costa coming back from loan but I don't think anyone has a lot of faith in him. Giroud is a name that keeps on getting mentioned as well as Burak Yilmaz (Trabzonspor).

*Javi Calleja will not be offered a new contract from Osasuna. The 34 year old is not ready to retire though.

*Marcos Senna has signed a one year extension with Villarreal promising to return them to the first division. Top guy! Ale

Today's rumour mill:

*Malaga are setting their sights on Edin Dzeko to lead their CL assault next season. Also rumoured to have interest in Manolito Adebayor.

*Sevilla are preparing an offer....Nigel Reo-Coker? Wtf. Doh

*Tino Costa out and Raul Garcia in! Mundo Deportivo Valencia will offer 5m euro for the soon to be ex-Atletico midfielder.

*Barcelona still have a buy back option Alberto Botia's contract with Sporting and apparently are trying to use him as a bargaining chip to get the Jordi Alba signing finalised.

*Espanyol close to signing Romeo Castelen.

*PSG definitely interested in Kaka. He is definitely not in Jose's plans. Sounds like Florentino will sell him if there is an offer of 30m.

Today's gossip:

*PSG have made two separate offers - 25m for Kaka and 45m for Higuain. Supposedly that is PSG's "final" offer for the brasilian. Initially reports were that Florentino would accept an offer of 30m but now Marca is saying that since PSG is one of the few clubs that can take on Kaka's wages, he may agree to the 25m fee.

*Malaga's "bomb" signing this summer could be Ganso. Not sure how much Santos would want for him but it's seems pretty clear that the sheikhs are gonna spend some cash to get Malaga ready for the CL next season. Isco-Ganso-Cazorla...think about it! Shocked

*Just seen Forza saying that Sahin was being linked with Milan, now Inter also being rumoured as a possible destination for the Turkish midfielder.

*Germany could be the surprise destination for out of contract Ricardo Carvalho. Both Werder Bremen and Wolfsburg are apparently trying to land the services of the portuguese defender.

*Tottenham, Newcastle, and Aston Villa are all set to bid for out of favour Espanyol midfieldre Javi Marquez. Could probably be had for around 5m euro I would have thought.

*Betis are trying to find a way to keep Roque Santa Cruz for another season. I don't think there is any way he can go back to Manchester City. He scored only 7 goals this season so maybe they can get him on loan again with City paying all his wages. They are also trying to keep Jefferson Montero although it is thought Villarreal want him to help get them back to the first divsion.

*Valencia are denying that Jordi Alba has been sold to Barcelona even though out going manager Unai Emery all but said it was a done deal.

*According to AS, Cristian Chivu's agent has "offered" the romanian player to....Getafe!!!!! He is out of contract and Getafe are really only going to be in the market for free transfers this summer. But Chivu???? Is he that washed up?????

*Real Sociedad's top priority is to bring Carlos Vela back. The club are hoping to get another loan deal but if they could make the move permanent on the cheap that would be open to that as well.

*Espanyol will be targeting a left back and two wingers to replace the departing Didac Vila, Vladimir Weiss, and Philippe Coutinho. Initially Coutinho was talking about wanting to stay another year on loan at Espanyol but it sounds like he will be going back to Inter to stay. First option for left back is Schalke's Sergio Escudero. I don't think he has made very many appearances since going to Germany.

NEWS & RUMOURS!!!!!!

*Villarreal have released Carlos Marchena. The club simply cannot afford his wages in the second division. In addtion, the former Spain international only played 17 matches for the Yellow Submarine last season. For free, I would have him in RM. Experienced defender can also play DM. Will be interesting to see where he lands.

*Barcelona have offered 40m euro for Thiago Silva. Unfortunately for the poor little cules, Man City have decided they want Silva as well and will undoubtedly outbid the stingy catalans who have reportedly offered to Bojan to Milan to sweeten the deal. Laughing

*Well apparently Man City have put a price tag of 21m euro on Roque Santa Cruz!!!! lol! Poor old Betis will not be in the bidding if that is true.

*Rumour is that if Valencia can raise 20m euro in player sales, then they will not have to sell Jordi Alba. Valencia will almost surely receive offers for Rami after the Euros. Tino Costa wants out so if he is sold they might get a decent fee for him. Mathieu, who has also had a good season, will likely be in demand. Aduriz could be on his way to Athletic. Pablo Hernandez is supposedly wanted by a few EPL teams.

*HAMIT ALTINTOP IS CLOSE TO SIGNING FOR GALATASARAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

cheers Cool Whoop wave Jacko Magic

*Van der Wiel's agent keeps flirting with Real Madrid. No thanks! He does NOT have the Fey stamp of approval.

*Zaragoza looking for a central defender. According to reports they were looking to see if they could get Squillaci on the cheap from Arsenal in January but could not afford his wages. Other options were: Alexis (Sevilla), David Navarro (Levante), and Juan Cala (Sevilla). David Mateos is not returning nor is Paulo da Silva. Raul Goni and Victor Laguardia are coming back from loan but they are still just kids. Manolo Jimenez will have a real headache trying to figure that out.

*Espanyol trailing young Boca Juniors striker Nicolas Blandi but apparently Napoli and Palermo are also interested so it may be a difficult deal to make.

*Shock of the century: Atletico don't want Ruben Micael. Perfect example of a player being thrown into a deal just so the f*cking agent can get a commission. He was on loan at Zaragoza, where he was mostly sh!t, and now he is heading back to Atletico.

*Barcelona are possibly interested in signing Pablo Zabaleta if Dani Alves leaves. Would be a shame because I always liked Zabaleta.

*Valencia have apparently offered a two year extension to Maduro!!!!! Doh

Big name for sure, but not an overly sensisble one. They already have Isco in that position.

-----------Kameni
Azpil----???----???----Monreal
-------????----------Toulalan
????---------Isco---------Cazorla
------------Rondon

They should go for Azpil.

Joquin should be kept as a squad player (a very valuable one). Likewise with Baptista, Sanchez, Gamez, Eliseu, Recio and Juanmi. I don't think any of their 3 CB's are good enough to start for a CL side.

It's hard to know how much money they have available, or are willing to spend. Dede, Mussachio, Sakho (seems to be out of favour at PSG), Botia, I Martinez could be good options. I do think they need two CB's.

For MF; JDS, Valero, Capoue, Sissoko, Javi Marquez would be good choices I think.

RW? Not a priority, because I think Joaquin can still do a good job if they choose not to bring anyone in. I'm not sure about Buonanotte. He hasn't really played much. They could go for Sarabia. I don't think Madrid want him. Front free of him Isco, and Santi could be nice. Lot's of interchange and variation.

Well...Angel Torres was supposed to sell the club to some guys from Dubai but the deal fell through or was reported to fall through. But then I guess towards the end of the season the sheikhs turned up at the stadium for Getafe-Mallorca. Either way they haven't put up any cash so Getafe are still Getafe.

It will be interesting to see how much Malaga spend. They spent 60m or so last summer. If they get around that amount again to gear up for CL football they could really fill in the holes. Still think GK is an issue (never been a fan of Kameni personally).

Good signing. Palop has looked a complete liability the past couple of seasons. Varas as you say, probably a better No. 2

RUMOURSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!

*Seems that Malaga's first concern is finding an attacker for their assault on the CL. Had been linked with loan moves for Adebayor and Dzeko. The other day Diego Forlan was being mentioned as a possibility and now today it's come out that they might try for Robinho. Well, well, well - City, Milan, Malaga...I guess he is still looking for the club that will be home to the greatest player in the world. Doh

*Sevilla trying to sign Cata Diaz. There were inquiries last summer as well. Apparently Getafe want 3m euro. Sevilla trying to work out a swap deal for the unwanted Alexis.

*Diego Capel being linked with a move back to Spain. Had a pretty good year in Portugal with Sporting. Now Atletico are rumoured to be interested. And they are even offering Ruben Micael as part of the deal! Laughing

*Not only do Galatasaray want to take Altintop off of our hands but they are also reportedly making an offer for Lassana. If they buy both of them I will officially "heart" Gala.

*Valencia being linked with a move for Roma left back Jose Angel if the Jordi-Alba-to-Barcelona transfer goes through.

*Meanwhile Valencia have signed Joao Pereira of Sporting for 3,5m euro rising to 4m if Valencia qualify for the group stages of the CL.

*Apparently Javi Varas is not at all happy with the arrival of Diego Lopez and has asked to leave the club. Andres Palop is still under contract with Sevilla but he is sh!t now so apparently Monchi is trying to bring Toño from recently relegated Racing as the backup.

Bayern reportedly have made an offer for Valencia's Mathieu. Never seen him play. Any good? Backup for Alaba on the left?

Meh. He's ok but won't set the world on fire. Bit of an ungainly player due to his size, not really a natural attacking fullback. Reasonable backup I guess.

Thanks, mate. Apparently, Bayern have been watching him all season. Doesn't sound like he'd be worth the 10m they are supposedly willing to pay. Who knows, maybe it's just a rumour.

worms.
