Hold your horses, José wants to keep him Wink

Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho wants Hamit Altintop to stay.

The Turkey midfielder has been linked with a move to Galatasaray.

"Hamit is a very important player in Turkey " Mourinho said. "I have a great relationship with him as he is a great player and a great person "

"I would be happy if he stays, but if he wants a change of scenery, it's his life. If he wants to return Turkey - if that's what he wants for his career - we will facilitate that."

Not sure how I feel about this. Seems like there are always idiots in charge. Toril is doing a great job with Castilla so Esnaider had better at least get an extension worked out for him.

Real Madrid midfielder Hamit Altintop insists he hasn't agreed anything with Galatasaray.

Altintop was quoted in the morning Turkish media he was joining Gala.

But last night he declared: "I have not signed anything. It is false that I've signed with another club. I have not said anything about that."

Are you seriously comparing Altintop to a Ferrari? He was a benchwarmer at Bayern. He was a benchwarmer at Real Madrid. Says it all really. Maybe he would be a starter at a club like Liverpool but he is not even close to a top player.

We(Liverpool) are just as big a club as Bayern Munich so I don't see what your point is there, very close to Real Madrid as well. Also he was only a benchwarmer because a player like Robben played in his position,Altintop is still a very good player.

So is Sahin, yet yous choose to play Kediria who is inferior instead of him. Doh

I am not talking about how "big" you are. I am talking about the quality of your players. Which at the moment is several tiers below Real Madrid or Bayern or many other football clubs. He is a benchwarmer because he is distinctly average, at best.

Sahin was not even available for selection for the vast majority of the season and he has very different characteristics than Khedira so I don't even know why you are bringing them in to the discussion.

You should have said a team like Liverpool instead of a club because that implied you were saying we are not a big enough club.
