Congrats to the Spaniards and all... Biggrin

The battle over progress will continue next season.

We all know that international football lags behind club football so I expect to see some catching up next time around.

Now the fight continues at club level and the first victory would be for us not to buy Modric.

@TM
These are by no means trivial matters. It is question of the soul of football. In general we are progressing nicely with fewer goals each international tournament in each decade and more goals from set pieces, counters,etc. History is on our side but there is still some bugs that need to be killed.

ok
Or Arturo Vidal

Also I have to say that we came out quite nice from this tournament. The Spaniards, except Arbeloa, were very good. Ramos in particular I must say delivered in both the semi and the final. Ozil+Khedira looked very good as well, with Khedira surprisingly being the best midfielder for Germany imo. Coentrao+Pepe as well were great while Ronaldo delivered goals.

No Modric-Progress Ale

Laughing

As far as the f*ck progress well of course I had to have a dig at Super! Wink

But yes the battle is only beginning. Fortunately for the proponents of good football we have already seen Mourinho beginning to see the light. If the Modric signing goes through his transformation will be nearly complete.

To football in 2012/13 Ale which reminds me I should start a new thread now that it is July!
