Not every team England play will be Spain, what if they play Germany again?

Creating a squad with the potential of being able to use non traditional CB's may help England against certain teams not all. Adding height up front and using them in set pieces to defend could change the way a side plays creating uncertainty to the opposition and expanding to the overall game plan.

Is there a reason he's wearing a sports bra with his initials on it?

Not been a t'riffic few weeks for 'Arry. But even if he does miss out on both the CL and the England job, you'd expect a top fella like him to bounce back.

Hmmm. Not convinced Woy will be able to handle the pressure that comes with being England manager. He was a mess at Liverpool.

Is it possible that they are just thinking Woy as temp manager for this tournament as he already has experience of managing at international tournament, etc?

'arry will be gutted. Quite glad it is not him as we'd be stuck with all his old pals in the team forever. Crouch and Lampard and so on.

McLeish should never get a PL job again once we sack him. Back to Scotland, a failure, for that football-hating ginger.

WBA will probably get Bruce, because Bruce seems to have knack of always being hired despite being shit.

Excellent choice, many britfags wont agree with this appointment, but im fairly optimistic about the Hodge. He could be the man England needs at this moment, zero expectations for once.

And even if he fails, we always have this

Konchesky is a definite lol!

Anyway commiserations to the England team. Hodgson can take a bunch of mediocre players and give them some formation and tactics to make sure they don't lose too often (Fulham, WBA), but he can't take a group of players who can play football (Inter, Liverpool) and make them win, especially with any style.
