We've just started the 2nd half and France went in 1-0 at the break.

A Nasri pass released Benzema on the left, and from just outside the box he sent in a cross for Loic Remy to score with a diving header from six yards out.

Cliche was awful. Sagna made some mistakes, but with his pace recovered well. Lloris should improve on his clearance & in general his kicks. Abidal solid. Kaboul looked alright too.

Remy-Benzema - Impressive.

Martin-Mvilla - Solid.

Saw glimpses of 'Nasri of the old'.

Overall, a positive game. But Chile came out to play, unlike some teams who park their bus.

This. It certainly wasn't a typical boring friendly.

The game ended 1-1. Both sides had an effort come of the woodwork, with France even having goals from Remy & Gameiro disallowed (both correct decisions). Chile's goal came with 15 mins left on the clock, Sanchez darted and tricked his way into the box and cleverly pulled the ball back to Cordova who found the top right corner from just inside the penalty area.

Disappointing performance. Even if a vital win.

Nope. I haven't read that nasri one.

It's a team of arrogant c**ts alright. Some are no good (evra, ribery). But Blanc knows (I hope!)

Ribery (injuries to both calves) & Matuidi (thigh injury) now ruled out despite joining up with the NT earlier today.

Lille's Mathieu Debuchy replaces Sagna. No news on Abidal & Koscielny.

France, like England, giving a debut at RB. Their injury list is long, but they should still see off Albania.

Lloris, Debuchy, Rami, Kaboul, Evra, Nasri, M'Vila, Cabaye, Malouda, Gomis, Remy

France doubled their advantage before HT as Remy scored after some good worlk from Nasri.

Cabaye plays on for the 2nd half after treatment, Reveillere replaces Evra.

EDIT: Cabaye only lasts two mins. Replaced by Marvin Martin.

Both subs combine for a third goal for the French. Martin picks out the advancing Reveillere, who finishes with a low shot into the bottom corner.

Gameiro & Sakho left out. Too much time on the PSG bench for them.

Wouldn't be surprised if Blanc picked Gourcuff in his final squad despite his poor form over the past 18 months.

Lloris
Debuchy-Koscielny-Mexes-Clichy
M'Vila
Cabaye-Nasri
HBA-Benzema-Ribery

But also tempted to play Remy in place of Nasri, & shift HBA centrally like this:

Lloris
Debuchy-Koscielny-Mexes-Clichy
M'Vila-Cabaye
----HBA
Ribery-Benzema-Remy

Having a CM of M'Vila-Cabaye would even let us play 4-4-2, In which case, Giroud must start with Benzema.

Hope Remy gets fit btw..

So sad that Kaboul isn't coming.

Blanc shouldn't prefer Rami to Koscielny. But he is already making more sounds of Mbiwa than Koscielny. Koscielny will be 4th choice, showing how overrated Blanc really is.

He should also fuck off with his ex-Bordeaux players fixation.

So starting lineup would be something like this ?

Lloris
Debuchy Rami Mexes Evra
Valbuena M'Vila
Menez Gourcuff Ribery
Benzema

Of course you could put Reveillere instead of Debuchy, Kosclieney instead of Rami, Cabaye instead of M'Vila, Nasri instead of Gourcuff/Menez.
