Our midfield is lacking steel, Roma have a free pass to our penalty area. We need to take Nagatomo out and get in Cambiasso.

I'm tipping them for a relegation scrap.

I hope Udinese join them and never see a UEFA competition any time soon, this club and their SuperMarket policy are hurting Serie A's pursuit of a fourth CL spot

Comes at a good time for Napoli! They'll have a chance to replace that sandpit that made the San Siro look like lawn tennis!

The only positive coming out of this annoyingly timed International break is that Inter should have recovered all our starters by the time we travel to Torino. I hope to see the following line up:

Milito
Sneijder - Palacio
Cambaisso - Gargano - Guarin
Pereira - Ranocchia - Samuel - Zanetti
Handanovic

With Cassano coming on in the 2nd half, for whoever is more tired among Milito/Palacio. Or perhaps Coutinho for Cambiasso to change to 4-2-3-1, if we need a goal desperately.

Its time to start clocking some good points.

Napolis chief medic has revealed the key to their success in avoiding injuries: No sex for two days before a game.

Well, if one was to go by what the Napoli medic says then Milan players seem to be a very merry lot Wink

Low cost my ass though, 15 million at least!

Interesting article on football-Italia on the wages in Serie A.

Milan have cut Eur 60m in wages this season, while Inter have cut 40m.

Club wage bill and highest earner:
Milan 120m (Pato 4m), Juventus 115m (Buffon 6m), Inter 100m (Sneijder 6m), Roma 95m (De Rossi 6m), Lazio 66.2m (Klose 2.1m), Napoli 53.2m (Cavani 4.5m), Fiorentina 38.8m (Jovetic 2.5m), Sampdoria 29.8m (Palombo 1.5m), Genoa 28.9m (Borriello 1.4m), Bologna 28.4m (Gilardino 1.2m), Atalanta 23.7m (Denis 1m), Palermo 23.4m (Miccoli 1.2m), Torino 22m (Bianchi 1.3m), Udinese 21.2m (Di Natale 1.3m), Parma 21.2m (Amauri 1m), Siena 18.9m (DAgostino 0.8m), Catania 18m (Andujar 0.6m), Cagliari 15.9m (Conti 0.75m), Chievo 15.9m (Pellissier 0.8m), Pescara 10.8m (Celik 0.4m).

Serie A's wages have fallen so drastically. Just a couple of years ago, Inter's wage bill was in excess of 230m! And even this highest earners are down, when the highest paid player is Buffon with 6m and only 10 players get over 4m.

I am quite impressed with the "wage control" at Napoli and (as always) Udinese.

Yep.

Not sure about the over 230mil figure from a couple season ago... looks small to be gross and way to big to be net.
