which clubs are/will be the WINNERS of Euro 2012 ?

Post by  on Sun Jun 17, 2012 12:14 pm

the superstars of the mega-clubs have often failed to put their stamp on this tournament

CRonaldo, Zlatan, van Persie, Robben, Rooney... have all flattered to deceive so far

so which club bosses/fans have most to cheer about , watching proceedings in Poland/the Ukraine

?

one leading contender must surely be

WOLFSBURG under Felix Magath

the Croat Mandzukic has already scored THREE goals

Petr Jiracek has scored TWICE for the Czechs

and

Vaclav Pilar, who will join Wolfsburg this summer, is also already on TWO goals

what other clubs have done well ?

and who will end up on top eventually ?

It's very hard to do anything more than flatter to deceive from the stands worm. Fortunately Otto is just being a witty old German, whereas I imagine that your comment is more genuine than that.

Sadly, I think Rooney's performance(s) at this Euros will probably draw many comparisons to the health of the current German banking system, i.e. living on reputation.

Otto, if you're intent on talking about CLUB football and not INTERNATIONAL football, then there is

only ONE question you should be asking, namely: Who are the current European Club Champions?

Let me assist you with the answer: the 6th best team in the "DPL"

So, that leads us to another question: what does that tell us about the Bundesliga, Serie A and La Liga? Whistle

It's amazing how it's always possible to twist a fragment of reality to fit any argument Old Plum Laughing
