Looks like no one in Europe comes close to beating España although Portugal can give them a run for their money.

It's gonna be either Brasil or Argentina.

Then you have various teams who aren't afraid of España at all in Uruguay, Paraguay, Chile, Perú, México, Colombia who have a 'Portugal' chance of beating España.

Only France could school the south Americans (bar Peru, who will not qualify and they've got no clone of Cesar Cueto yet), Spain overrated massively in deed.

I wouldn't say they are overrated - they've cleaned house in the last three tournaments. Not liking them is fair enough but making foolish claims is just silly.

I hope Brazil do it though.

Chile were the better team against España the last two times they played. Small details (in the World Cup game) and a fucking biased ref (in their ensuing friendly match) were the difference. Yes, Chile have the best chance of beating España after Brasil and Argentina. Then you have the other teams mentioned with a 'Portugal' chance.

Spain struggle against South American opponents, uniformly. Messi also looks lost against SA teams in Copa. No coincidence I think..

Recent Costa Rica game. And Portugal game in semis. Shows that Spain does struggle against similar skilled football teams. Even Italy could have given them a game with proper rest.

I forgot about "Los Ticos". Yes, Costa Rica too aren't scared of España. You are correct, in that teams who can pass the ball as well like Perú, Chile, Uruguay etc. etc. are not intimidated at all by the European Kings.

España are good, real good. However, they can not be in the talks of all time greats UNTIL they beat either Brasil or Argentina.

They were lucky to beat Chile, and gifted a win by the ref against Paraguay in WC 2010. España were lucky to not played against Brasil and Argentina in WC 2010. Sure losses in my book!

Now, Europe is full of shite teams which magnifies the greatness of España. In Europe there's only España, Portugal, Italia, Germany, France and Netherlands (overrated as fuck though!). Russia will blow hot and cold, the same with Croatia (decent team mind you). The rest are SHITE!

Let's see España play Americans (North and South) in our own backyard.

You still haven't explained how we were gifted a win against Paraguay, the only controversial decision I remember in that game is us not getting another pen when Fabregas was fouled as he tried to score the rebound of Alonsos Penalty.

That Argentinan side got beat 4 - 0 by Germany and it was Brazils fault for not beating Holland, not ours.

I like South America teams and think they are very good technically and defensively,Paraguay and Chile both give us great games in the WC but it's not our fault Argentina got smashed 4 - 0.I think Brazil could have given us a great game but they shown against Holland that they were fragile mentally and that once behind in a game they lacked ideas how to break the opposition down as they were a counter attacking team.I would love to see us(Spain) play us(Uruguay),Europa vs South America campiones. <Ale>

There's only one team able to win against Spain in Europe and that's us. We really just need to find a striker... Wink
I'm sure that with the likes of Nuno Gomes we would have won this one. Even with Postiga. He doesn't score often but holds the ball well and creates a lot of chances for his team mates. That H.Almeida is just like a pine tree where you shoot at him and hope it rebounds into the goal.

Then there's Brasil and Argentina also but i know Spain fears us the most Twisted Evil

Anyway, nice win for them and some history pages written <Ale>

argentina, all they need to do is take a page out of spain's book and play to thier strenght, spain has loads of midfielders, so they find away to get as much of them in the team has possible while keeping a balance team

they have forwards, what they need to do is go back to the pekerman play book and play the system that gets the most of them in the team and that's 4-2-3-1

---Zabeleta----Silvestre---Colo----Ansaldi

--------------Masch----Benega

----Di Maria-----Messi--------Kun

----------------Higs

You know it looks good, not the greatest of defense, but a solid one and if they get a run of games to gel, they will only get better

Masch and Benega, Will be able to protect the back four while forming a triangle with messi to keep the ball

The quality of the front 4 when attacking will, push back spain's FB and Pivots, ruining their spain's harmony.

there is just one right answer

ze germans

in 2014 the youth is hopefully gone, i am sick, you really can`t win a shit with youth

özil 25
reus 25
müller 24
badstuber 25
hummels 25
kroos 24

and so on

in 2014 every player should have reached another level

also götze could be the 2nd best AM on planet

we have given them a good run in 2010, in an fair way, not holland style, and xavi and alonso can`t be replaced from youth, not with the same quality, maybe they will be there, but we know what can happen in 2 years, look at van bommel
