Dortmund lost for the first time in 31 Bundesliga matches, 2-3 to Hamburg. Incredible run. (Glad to see it end though.)

Bayern win convincingly, Dortmund only draw, and the gap between the sides has stretched to seven points after just five matches.

Any way to learn notes for Dortmund players from game vs M'gladbach? Or it's too early and they will publish it on Monday?

Do you know if there are any team-mates of Charles Kumi Gyamfi (the first African to play top flight football in Germany) still alive? He played one season for Fortuna and learned to coach in Germany. He's fluent in German too. He went on to become the most successful international coach in African history (matched by Hassan Shehata now. Mats Hummels thinks more should be made of Germany's role in shaping Gyamfi's coaching career. Gyamfi gives Germany credit for helping him.

He's very similar to Lennon... not as quick, but more intelligent in the final ball; he has the potential to be far better than that facking runner Lennon, too... he had a brilliant partnership with Marco Reus last season, but seems to have had a fairly slow start this year (as has the entire Gladbach side).

How shit is de Jong so far eh?

Still can't believe both parties! Why did de Jong join a team that spends most of it's recent history fighting relegation. And why did Gladbach go for such an average player.

Monchengladbach winger Herrmann dismisses Tottenham link as 'just rumours'

http://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/2896/premier-league/2012/10/16/3453714/monchengladbach-winger-herrmann-dismisses-tottenham-link-as-just-?source=breakingnews

Reports in Germany have claimed that Spurs manager Andre Villas-Boas is considering lodging a £7 million bid for the 21-year-old.

But, despite describing the suggestions as "flattering", the midfielder has dismissed the idea of moving any time soon.

"I have heard about that. I read papers," Herrmann told Rheinische Press. "Of course, those sums are somewhat flattering.

"You don't have to overrate it. My agents did not tell me anything about it. That's just rumours."

Herrmann has made 56 appearances for Bundesliga side Monchengladbach in just over two years, finding the net 10 times.

He was keen to emphasise, though, his happiness with his current situation.

"I am happy about the praise. But why should I leave now? I feel great here," he added.

"And the last season was great fun, we played beautiful football. We want to return to that now and are on the right path."

That's right Hermann, you dismiss those rumours.

Huntelaar is so shit it's unreal. Even a one on one he can't finish in a big game. Schalke won nontheless.

Which means Bayern is now 12 points clear already. I believe they can win the league in december already!

impressed with the new schalke midfield-triangle (holtby, höger, neustädter) + raul loss, means they can match the intensity of the dortmund game, neustädter is so far the best DM of the league ME THINKS

dante
neustädter
reus

all three of them are backbones of there new clubs, now you realize which quailty gladbach lost

Bayern v Leverkusen 1-2

Craziest game I've seen in a while. Bayern all over them all game long. Leverkusen's first shot on goal is a tap in after a rare mistake by Lahm. Bayern finally equalize, then Pizzarro hits the post. Leverkusen take the flukiest lead ever when their header which would have been miles off target hits Boateng in the face and wrong-foots Neuer. Bayern hit the crossbar int he 93rd minute. Game over. About 20-4 shots on target, score 1-2. Football, man.

As long as most matches remain to have the quality of HSV-Bayern atm, the Bundesliga will never be nr1. It's still an entertainment branche.

Anyway, anyone read van Gaals interview in bild? According to him, he made this Bayern team, and the German national team! Smile And he liked everyone at Bayern, except for Hoeness. Who he thought was a c**t, but I believe that was likewise.

HSV started way more attacking in the 2nd half, downside is they get utterly raped. But it's more entertaining now!
