I doubt it's the manager Murray. Scotland has zero quality.

So sacking the manager wont help.

That entire group is made out of countries that shouldnt even excist in the first place.

Time for a new manager.

Scotland have shit players; no manager is going to change that.

I think you should stop moaning about everything under the sun and show some support for once <Ale>

Their players are more capable than their manager sets them up to be though.. This man chose the formation 4-6-0..

Stonewall pen against Ireland a red card for O'Shea who rugby tackled Reus in the box - but the ref books Reus for diving Doh

Oh well Reus has scored now. 1 - 0 Germany.

The numpty Welsh manager is playing Bale on the right wing which is a lucky break for us because our numpty manager picked Alan Hutton at right back

Bale definitely tripped over his own feet for the pen & we had a goal mysteriously disallowed.

The ref is German and is fantastically useless

England have scored four now. Teaching San Marino a footballing lesson at the moment. Laughing

Impressive from Ireland against the Germans as well. Razz

Bale scores again with one minute to go. What's that they say about cheats never prospering?

I saw the half time analysis though, Southgate was talking some shit, he seems to think San Marino players should take it easy because the England players are pro's and this is their livelihood. I'm sure the part timers will feel sorry for any England players that pick up injuries while on their 5 year multimillion pound contracts. tongue

Japan beating France 1 - 0 in a friendly. Kagawa the scorer. cheers

Update: final score. And it was a strong Franc team with Benzema, Ribery, etc.

Update: Japan goal started with a corner clearance at the Japanese end. Awful defending by France and Koscielny involved here Rolling Eyes

Most interesting news of past weekend:

USA barely wins against some islands. 90 min stroke.
Cap Verd islands destroy cameroon (no africa cup for them)
4 Cuban players escape during their WCQ games in Canada.
Portugal likely to finish second as always in a qualifier group

And the mighty Niger make it to ACN again. They had to qualify hard way last time. Hope they develop from here. Cape Verde will be interesting. Their more illustrious near-neighbours didn't make it. Sure someone can correct if wrong, but doesn't Nani have Cape Verdean origins?

Lot of fuss about Lewandowski but its Obraniak's set pieces I fear.

He doesn't score directly from them but he has amazing consistency with his crosses.

Relentless rain in Warsaw has got heavier in last hour. Surface water evident in several areas. If continues must be close to unplayable

Roy Hodgson now inspecting pitch. Ball not running freely in warm up. Real concern

Update: ITV saying the game likely to be abandoned for today.

Poland didn't want to. Both teams have to agree apparently.
