Doesn't really belong here, but I can't be bothered to start a new topic for it. Just been to the Casablanca derby between Raja and Wydad at the Mohamed V Stadium. Wasn't full by any means, but it was a noisy fun atmosphere and the fans got their flares in. There was no trouble. They seem to have it down to pat on where to aim the flares. All in all an enjoyable derby, although the football was flatter than I expected. Super would have been appalled at the defending, but he should see it as a job opportunity. Plainly they need defensive coaching. Wydad scored first through Fabrice Ondama as Wydad deservedly led at half time. The quality was provided by Raja's equaliser. Note for Cristiano - that's how to take a free-kick and celebrate afterwards. Fantastic equaliser by 18 Hamza Abourazzouk. The refereeing is as bad in Morocco as elsewhere. There should have been a penalty and probably red card for climbing all over Ondama, but nothing was given. Interesting experience though. Sadly the argan tree climbing goats are out of season now and further south anyway. If you get a chance to see then it's well worth and true. The goats really do climb the trees to feast on the argan nuts. Due to interview Wydad's coach on Tuesday morning.
