No, no no. The world will stop spinning on its axis if you two start finding common ground. Stop it immediately!

Jaime and by now most Madridistas probably agree that Benzema is too much of a pussy. Negredo is less talented but would still have been useful by now while Benzema has faded.

A Team Progress/Anti-Progress(pro-football) alliance Question

I suppose anything is possible

Together we can invade Poland(Barcelona)

You see what happens when you two form an alliance. Borussia Dortmund 1, Real Madrid 0. You can't say you weren't warned.

Edit: 4-1 now. Your only hope for the second leg is to set the world back on an even keel by ending this atrocious alliance.

I can't see how we would be able to do anything like that. We would need for Ronaldo+Ozil to work their asses off and everything to go well. And they will put full pressure on Alonso and keep him out of the game if we don't play Modric as well instead of Khedira. And our strikers are just not firing at the moment although Higuain shows some signs of life every now and then. Not to mention that we can't conceed at all which is highly unlikely.

What I really don't get is that Mourinho said they have prepared for this game but it certainly doesn't seem like it. I even wrote before the game that:
Super Mourinho wrote:
I could imagine him starting with Modric, if he is deemed fit in the Am position with Ozil on the right but I hope he doesn't because then we will be open down both flanks.
Now of course he couldn't expect for Ozil+Alonso to play so poorly. Khedira was expected though but he wasn't even pressured that much. I'm assuming he was hoping we could control the game more which wasn't a bad idea except that Dortmund were bound to kills us on the flnks at some point.

Once again Varane is looking the more experienced out of our defenders. While he has done a good job it is incredible that Pepe is such a liability at times. Our fullbacks were very reserved as well although Coentrao helped out at times. We should consider going all out with Marcelo+Essien. Marcelo makes Ronaldo play better and Essien seems to be our only fullback who is able and willing to cross the ball. We have to do what Chelsea did to Napoli except we don't have the muscle upfront with a striker like Drogba.

Yeah, against Barca you had a massive chance, they are the weakest of the four.

Anyway, speaking of Barca...is there a bigger Madrid legend then Drenthe?

Just saw that on average Dortmund ran an 1km more than we did. They had 4 players in the top with Khedira being nr.5 with 11km. Do anybody here know where you can see the individual stats of how much players ran?

How can I get the link from the Drenthe videos?

UEFA keep those for media, so I guess you can get them from UEFA or from the various clubs.

i can`t remember a single shot on target from open play, dortmund outclassed madrid

its typical for dortmud, they always outrun there opponents, its a deadly combinantion

technique, fast sprints, organisation, stealing the ball, clean tackles (so far no dortmund player has more then 2 yellow cards, not even kehl oder bender), thats world class, and when you see how hard they fight for every ball, then its even more impressive

bayern and Dortmund play the most modern football on planet, other clubs will now copy stuff from bayern and dortmund, thats the start of the next evolution in football

Meh then you also admit Dortmunds last 2 goal against Malaga where gifts? One by Dimichales and one by the linesman? Think you and many other people, not just on this website but on other forums and in the media are overreacting saying Bayern and Dortmund are the 2 teams that play the most "modern" football on the planet. Largely just because of 2 games, both when the German sides where at home.

I still consider Barca to be better than Dortmund and play better football, Barca would never find themselves 20 points behind Bayern in a league title race, even with our flaws this season we would have challenged them all the way.

not just because of 2 games, because of every CL game from both

dortmund is still unbeaten, and bayern destroyed juve, arsenal and barca

and madrid is 13 points behind barca, they have unlimited money and the so called best coach in the world, dortmund is doing a great job, also there will always be a slip in a league when you break every record in the previous seasons

bayern is just hungry, there last title was from 2010;

Basically I just went to the match centre and if you see the 'formations' diagram you can click on each player from either team and a window will pop up with the statistics for each player for that match. I couldn't find it in nice, neat list unfortunately. Scroll all the way down for distance covered.

Not that I'm a fan of defending Arsenal, but since when does going through on the away goals rules constitute a 'destruction'?

Yep, Bayern made mincemeat of them at the Emirates, but they then fell apart at home and you almost, ALMOST, choked and made every Spurs fan hate them again for somehow managing to fuck up something so routine, just like they did against Chelsea in the final last year.
