Lewandowski missed a pen against Neuer just recently.

Your standard German would be stepping up after such an incident.

Still think I'm getting carried away...? Smile

Haha no.

Robben almost presented with another glorious chance.

"We were going to sign Dante when he was at Borussia Monchengladbach and I was at Twente. He is great going forward and great on the ball, but there is always one mistake in him."
Interesting from Steve McClaren.

Actually, I wonder when we had such a great CL final in recent times? Great in the sense of it being an even match and both teams going for it? Brilliant

Bayern pressing is more intense and Borussia is struggling to bring ball from the back.

Great game. I'd be surprised if anyone could want Bayern to win (except their fans). most of their players are thoroughly unlikeable.

Very much hope we'll be seeing some Piggy tears at the end (he sure won't be winning WPOTY based on this so far). Hope we see Ribery sent off before the end too. didn't quite realize what a cock he was. always diving and fouling.

Ribery has been awful, true, but I don't know what your beef with Schweinsteiger is. What has he done?

Gündogan has been the best player on the pitch IMHO

Actually, it has been a relatively fair match, despite some Ribery antics. Few fouls.

Schweinsteiger close.

Weidenfeller has really impressed me this season. Really improved his alround game.

I just never liked his face Razz He hasn't been at his best though, think he needed to star here to win WPOTY, going back to conversation we had a week or so back. Muller's been Munich's best.

Gundogan has been very good ok you knew he was gonna score that pen, looks supremely calm player.

Re Reus

I suspect that he'd be a very very good 'false 9', too, but Allez disagrees with me on this.

Isn't his chances conversion rate is far from being good enough to play this role?

Agree with you actually, Müller has been their best player. Ultimate big game player. Heynckes biggest mistake last year was benching him in extra time last year.

Finally for robben

Congrats bayern, but it must be said none of the Germans the technically brilliant Germans, I should have said had more than a average game with the exception of rues.

Count their lucky stars they have robben of all people on their team, he has been very good.

Decent finally overall
