Even if Milan lose today, they still scored the crucial away goal.

Good feisty match between PSV and Milan (and my God PSV fans are loud). Probably a red card or two waiting to happen.

Milan are sooooo void of any talent. Its weird to think this used to be such a big club. PSV would walk it if their fans would make some feckin noise.

Great goals by Sociedad. Ale

Lyon are a shadow of their former self, they'll likely vanish into meaninglessness in the coming years now that those two financials behemoths have emerged. Their grip on Ligue1 in the noughties used to be tighter than Man United's in England or Bayern's in Germany. How the mighty have fallen.

Its great to see so much talent again with dutch teams. Shows again we can still deliver. And that the talented Belgian ans German generation were a fluke..

Which one of the three generations currently playing for the NT was a 'fluke' ?

Milan have to qualify for the CL, simply have to. Would be a real catastrophe for the club if they don't. They are already struggling financially.

So the new generation of Draxler & Götze isn't a fluke? What about the Schweini-Lahm generation?

By German standards, they are all "flukes" as long as they haven't won shit. That's the difference to you Dutchies, a significant difference. You tend to hail losers. PSV have nothing to show for being the better team tonight and you champion them. In Germany, that would never happen. Löw tried to instill this loser mentality into the German psyche but it didn't stick. It can't.

Schweini and Lahm are notorious losers. Ask Otto. They only won something due to the selfish brilliance of Robbery.

For Germany, they are. On the club level, the loser tag simply doesn't stick anymore, no matter how much otto rants about it (out of simple contempt for those players). Both had a very significant impact on Bayern's treble winning season.

They'll very likely remain losers as long as Löw stays in charge.

check out the guy who opened the scoring for Shakhtar. I'm pretty sure it was a fan who snuck on the pitch in full kit. He looks like some old geezer.

Amazing that they lose their best player from a year ago and can still give a performance like this.

it`s not a bad result for PSV, they showed that they can score, i expect 2 goals from them in italy Wink

balotelli needs some rest ahead of the WC, and they won`t take the EL seriously lol!

Didn't watch the Lyon game last night but did Grenier play? He's been watched by a lot of top clubs. They also have Gonalons, while Gourcuff is apparently rediscovering his old form so a surprise to see them go down at home so easily.

Lyon likely going out means Leverkusen being in pot 3. Juventus will be in pot 2 as a consequence.

Exactly.

I saw him when Real Madrid played Lyon in preseason and he invented a pretty spectacular goal from almost nothing. He definitely has talent but it's a pretty poor Lyon side at the moment.
