0 - 0 HT between Arsenal and Fenerbahce. I'm surprised at how poor Fenerbahce are. They can't play this badly in 2H and it's certainly still within our grasp to concede a goal 'against the run of the play'. Lacking coherence in MF without Arteta, and no cutting edge going forward, so no change.

Koscielny got kicked in the face by Webo, a big cut and probably concussed too. Just as well he is suspended on Saturday.

Ramsey 0 - 2 cheers

awful goalkeeping by Volkan.

- 5 minutes later -

Ramsey bloody loses the ball 2 yards outside our own penalty box with a bloody stupid backheel pass, leading to Sow having a shot on goal

Embarassing defending by Schalke. Great shot, but should have never given the opportunity to shoot from that position. If Schalke fuck this up, they're beyond ridiculous.

Why is Emre getting booed by the home crowd?

Answer: he was a Galatasaray player. Erm pretty unforgiving lot, Fenerbahce fans.

Nonsense. Schalke are simply a mess, they had an awful start in the league as well. A crappy start seems to be normal for them these days.

One of the worst defences in the Bundesliga, and that is not an exaggeration... their coach is a born loser too; just look at him, looks weaker than Loew, always anxious, permanently weeping eyes... they have not had a proper coach since Felix Magath.

Hopefully this serves as a wake up call... scrape by the play-offs, and get a new coach in for the group stages.

There goes our slim but very doable WC aspirations.

Uruguay are playing their best football (even better than in WC 2010) right now, peaking at the right time and we NEED everyone to beat them in Lima.

We can still beat them "Yoruguas", but it's gonna take a lot of WILL. Who wants it the most! damn it!

It was a bad thing.... for Schalke! As I always said actually, they shouldn't have let him go, they really could do with a bit of creativity and unpredictability in the centre.

But Schalke's bigger problems are defence and management indeed. Keller was never really accepted there, neither by the fans nor team. It's fitting that Stevens, who is still hugely popular amongst the Schalke fans, made them look silly once again.

If Schalke fail to qualify for the CL, sporting director Heldt's head is on the line. He was the guy who sacked Stevens and gave Keller the job and who is directly responsible for the transfer policy.

i wouldn`t call it average, you can`t be average and collect the most points after bayern (in the 2nd half of the last season)

they have plenty of potential, but they are in for an new game style, it hasn`t really well worked out so far

stuttgart with a late goal Smile

lol udinese lost 3:1 hahaha you always can count on them

Schalke close at gaining their 15 million ticket in Greece. But Germany will pay Greece 15 billion one of these days, so who looks silly now....

Well perhaps Stevens will hurt Schalke afterall cause its 1-1.
