Ray, since when observing someone looked a bit ill (which I thought he did) and therefore off pace been a criticism? I did not make any comments on his workrate either, I merely said he looked a bit off colour which so far as I know is not a derogatory comment make. I understand that Ozil does a lot for the team but at the same time I don't believe that we have seen the best of him yet, except in fleeting glimpses in the first few matches he played for us.

first one is meaningless (though I see it has an early goal).

Man Utd-Shakhtar could be interesting. Shakhtar need to win to qualify but Man Utd will also very much want a win after two home losses on the bounce.

Bit of a snoozefest in Copenhagen. The pitch is in terrible condition.

Any of the other matches interesting?

Superb goal from Modric. Little turn at the top of the box to make himself a yard of space and then an unstoppable curling shot.

Fortunately, what you think doesn't matter.

We have a million matches. There's no one starting line-up. This isn't basketball.

plus it's not a particularly important game! I mean, should Toure, Aguero, Kompany, Nasri & Negredo be worried about their Man City future 'cause they've been rested for this one Laughing

martinez has been benched for the last 2 games, and even before thiago was fit, lahm was the first choice 6 for pep

he is not a key player like he was under jupp, thats what i wanna say, and i doubt that this is his ambition at the club, especially because he has also no foot at the starting 11 of spain

maybe the problem will be solved after this game, i read that thiago is the worst bayern player on the field

not surprising, city is not bremen

I don't see any bad Bayern players. Stop reading the 'ticker' and watch your team before you judge.

Martinez is awesome, versatile, and very happy at the club. Try getting over your Bild mentality of finding problems where there are none. Cheers.

Thiago isn't really doing anything wrong TBF. He's just being very diligent with his passing without being creative. Kroos is doing the one that's passing with intent.

But yeah, sounds like Guardiola is doing to Martinez what he did to Y.Toure. I think Bayern will regret it against the better counter attacking sides.  I think ManC would would done so much more if they had a better striker that Dzeko. Baryen would have struggled to contain them on the counter.

I do think this squad has way to many midfielders. Martinez should be starter even with all the competition. Maybe at defence. Dante was ball watching for City's goal.

I think some Bayern players really need that winter break to get sharp again. Since the 2-0 this has been a very lackadaisical performance.
