Higuain would have been worth it. Even so, why didn't you go for Tevez?

Arteta isn't really creative mate. He's played as our DM but that's another debate entirely. Wilshere, Cazorla are both supposed to provide creativity from different areas of the pitch. Wilshere isn't even a starter these days so I think the Ozil argument was valid. Higuain obviously would've been great and it looked like we had an initial £23m bid accepted for him. But Madrid said they wanted more money right? How much did Napoli pay for him in the end; £37m or something along those lines. I think that's when Wenger decided to try his luck with Suarez. Tevez I would've taken tbh. But he's what, 30 now? Then there's whether City would've sold to a direct rival and also the fact that Tevez spent the last two years trying to get out of England. Arsenal definitely should be doing better IMO for sure but it's a lot more complex than it appears.

DohDoh

Do you even support Arsenal?

You are quite right naming only 6 subs, most of all are complete randoms is fine Ale

Plus having no strikers.

So no mention of the injuries we had? What did you expect him to do when there are 10 players out?

I hope you are not including Diaby or the Swede in that list of players.

I am including them even if I don't rate them because it's a body at the end of the day. And when you have players dropping like flies due to being overplayed; it's a nice option to have.

Oh dear

Oh dear, he cost 42 million, was hyped to fuck and has had about 4 good games for you.

Who hyped? And as for 4 good games, yeah ok mate. As I said in the Arsenal thread; easier to call him shit rather than look at why he may be having teething problems. Not that I think he's been bad anyway, just an easy target.

Many many Arsenal fans and the media.

I don't doubt he's a great player and he may have reasons for not settling but I'm not interested in that - my point is that he's been a flop so far. He has been bad mate, stop deluding yourself . Wenger has overplayed him I admit but most games he's ineffectual. I would be pleased to line up against him personally and for that amount of money it's not good enough. It's the same as Torres or Kaka, both quality players, both didn't fit the clubs they moved to and never recovered.

You don't want to hear the reasons for him not settling even though it may be a direct influence on his form? But yeah he hasn't really been a flop mate. You're doing the exact thing the media are doing. He has six goals and 13 assists. The assist column would be something like 25 if certain individuals (Giroud) knew how to finish. You can't go from servicing Benzema, Higuain, Ronaldo etc to servicing Giroud and not expect to see a difference. That's not his fault; that's Wengers. You say he's been ineffectual but he's created 25% of all Arsenal's chances this season, a higher percentage than any other player in the league - that's quite a disconnect from someone who is apparently ineffectual.

Like I said, I don't doubt there are things he can improve on in his game and he will need to because Arsenal isn't Madrid where we can just buy a quick fix anytime. We play differently to them as well. But to expect someone to be firing on all cylinders six months into a new team, league, culture, country without a pre-season is pretty silly tbh and it'd be foolish to ignore these factors.
It will be interesting to see next season when Walcott is back and they have bought a new striker. I think we will see a much more dangerous Ozil and Arsenal. Of course it depends on Wenger not cheaping out again in the summer.

Chelsea should have battered that shit Galatasaray team, but no, Jose is quite happy with a boring 2-0 win.

Honest question, are Madrid fans still angry about selling Ozil and signing Bale?

I don't think any of us were ever angry about it. Blut seemed horrified and claimed it was all down to Florentino's need to wave his dick in the air. The Arsenal fans seemed to think we should be devastated. And Worms, well, I think he pretty much thought we'd be relegated for such an exchange.

Moysey will be shitting one right now. Apparently he wrote in his pre match programme notes to United fans 'let the officials know if there is any time wasting'  lol!

Surely Moyes can't fuck this one up?

3 games to save his job, surely we can all unite behind moysey tonight. For the good of the game, no one could want him fired.

But the longer he stays the more damage he can do and the longer it takes for manu to recover. I am hoping he survives this season, spends some money in the summer on another felliani or two then gets fired around xmas time after manu are sitting in about 10th position

The man is amazingly consistent:
