What's up with Balotelli? Berlusconi supposedly wants to get rid of him.

Disagree. With Nainggolan, they midfield is set - its now at the Juve level. 3 of De Rossi, Pjanic, Nainggolan and Strootman.

Yes, they also could do with another top striker, an upgrade on Borriello basically. But they are reasonably well set with Totti, Ljajic, Gervinho, and Destro.

Yes, I said Gervinho. Or as the Roman's call him these days, "The African Messi"!!

Roma badly need another striker, look how the goals dried up when Totti was injured.

As for Gervinho, he couldn't hit a cow's arse with a banjo.

And Ljajic has been rubbish so far.

Yep Roma has crap strikers this season, Destro stalled hard and Borriello is... Borriello.

Dunno why they sold Osvaldo - I mean, I get it, he's nutty-ish and they needed fresh cash, but they did almost no profit on his sale, and they've been missing him so far.

Still, Roma's game drying up with Totti out is not the kind of issue that a new striker alone can solve.
Especially the kind of striker that goes on sale for cheap in January

Shit just got serious. Our management couldn't be more retarded. From what I hear, our directors confirmed to both players that the swap is "done". Then the curva wrote a stinker to the club quite publicly. Thohir stopped the deal, but now Guarin is throwing a tantrum. Another crazy day at crazy Inter.

Why the hell do we need Vucinic anyways, when our team is crying out for a proper wing back, a proper CB, and proper Cuchu replacement and a Milito replacement? Vucinic solves nothing. Much as I would like to get rid of Guarin, this is absolute shite.

Promise that never got fulfilled... it could be because of the situation at Inter with frequent change of coaches and tactics, but the frog never really settled in. Its best for everyone he goes elsewhere (apart from Juve or Milan, of course).

I am glad Thohir stopped that move after the fans protest. Selling Guarin to Juve is silly, specially for an older player (Vucinic). If we were getting a key player, maybe we could consider... but otherwise, why sell to a bitter rival?

That said, I still want Guarin sold, perhaps out of Italy.

But Italian clubs sell to bitter rivals all the time. It's not like in Spain, or at least that's what I always thought.

So Thohir or the transfer pundits at Inter know less about whom to buy or sell than the fans!!! If the deal was so close they must've seen some merit in it. Who's in control at Inter Smile

The way this Guarin-Vucinic saga has been handled, looks like he has no clue. Thohir did say the right things, that we need to focus on revenue for a while and not on big transfers - unpopular view, but that sounded sensible to me. But since then, its been chaos. Last few days have been an embarrassment.

Still, its early days. I hope for all of us that he is a quick learner, or its going to be a very painful era.
