Surely having an open game is not good for psg, as it means more goals. A cagey 1-0 loss would work for them. If they are attacking and chelsea score on the counter, I can see them getting very nervous as a single goal could see them out.

Plus Jose hates it when teams sit back and counter because that is how he designs his team to play. Jose's teams have no idea what to do when they are forced to take the initiative.

Well a 1-0 deficit would be skating perilously close to elimination; PSG shouldn't go gung-ho but they definitely want to score (preferably early on?), leaving Chelsea having to score thrice just to take the game to extra time.

Arda is ruled out definitively for the match against Barcelona. Diego Costa hasn't trained today but he is in Simeone's 18 man squad. bounce

I wish the English media numpties would stop going on about previous comebacks by English teams in Europe. It doesn't mean it is going to happen again, they are just desperately clutching at straws.

Could barely find a way out our own half in the first ten minutes. Now possessing the ball and Dortmund are dropping deeper.

Di Maria's penalty saved by Weidenfeller. Probably a just outcome.

Chelsea playing quite well though, cech hasn't touched the ball in the first 20 mins of this game, on the other hand neither team has had a shot yet

The ball strikes Pisczcek's elbow which was starting to come away from his body but his back was completely turned to the cross so it's hard to say he was intentionally blocking. Might not have been in the box either.

In any case 0-0...........

Colossal fuck up by Pepe. Back header straight to Reus who goes in unmarked, nips around Casillas and scores into an empty net.

It actually a great save by Sirigu after a Lampard shot.

He could't do anything with Schurrle, very poor marking by PSG from a throw-in.

Fully deserved lead, psg seem to have left their "attacking philosophy" back in France

Now Illarra fucks up miscontrolling a ball terribly losing it to Lewandowski. His shot is deflected by Casillas onto the post but Reus is the first one to the rebound and slams it home.
