Had Wellbeck sometimes up front and sometimes on the left then put him at no 9 when the game stretched. Certainly the players weren't individually special, except for Buttner (by his standards). I assume they'll get smashed in Munich, but I guess they're only a fluke or a referee away from success.

It was just like watching Moyes' Everton team - park the bus and hope to score from a corner or free kick.

Really not how a big team such as Man U should be playing

Lowest ever possession for a home team in CL knockout phase

Another record achieved by the Chosen One

Maybe but Willian, Oscar, Hazard, Schurrle are attacking midfielders/forwards ...

Looks like Pep has taken the whining mentality to bayern as well as the possession game:
http://espnfc.com/news/story/_/id/1772308/arjen-robben-acusses-manchester-united-playing-handball?cc=5739

Boohoo, the opposition defended and didn't let us score. At least it's a change from "... but but we had more possession."

Schurrle plays as striker. and he'd struggle to be less effective than Torres in the position.

Long ball from Pepe for Benzema who slips it through for an unrushing Dani Carvajal, square pass for Bale who slides it in.

The transformation of Pepe from last year to this is amazing. He is in possibly the best form since joining us. I don't think he has been this good since his first year in 07/08.

1-1 Chelsea fully deserve their away goal, psg have done nothing sine their goal. They seem to have decided to win 1-0 and just defend, parking the bus as murray said

Getting a little sloppy at the back. Hopefully Ancelotti can settle everyone down at the half.

Have to see a replay of the penalty, but seemed genuine to me.

To be fair the ref gave a lot of soft freekicks to psg, gave ramires a yellow card when he took out a psg player on the break, then he himself was taken out on the break and just got a free-kick.

Living very dangerously at the back. Gonna need to score a couple more because I get the feeling Dortmund will sneak one before it's over.
