Tyldsley and Towsend are practically masturbating over Chelsea's "heroic" defensive performance.

Terry grapples shirts as much as Skrtel does. Another media myth.

Today's game just proves me why we need attacking minded teams to win trophies on more or less consistent basis. Cause when "Team Progress" will have too many members we will aften have to watch games like today Sleep

Atletico is usually pretty damn good to watch. Team progress claimed them but what do they know. I agree with Chelsea and any given Maureen team is a cancer.

Well played Chelsea and Mourinho

They completely kept Atletico from creating chances. The counter attacking was pathetically bad but most of the time it was Torres getting the ball and he consistently messed it up as always. He has the speed which is why Mou prefers him but I can't see that it does them that much good. He might as well try out Demba Ba once.

Atletico for whatever reason chose not to go completely aggressive as they normally did. I guess Simeone, rightly, respects not to give a Mourinho team too much space. The next game will also be thight because Mourinho knows he will only need one goal but nonetheless I doubt they will be nearly as defensive so Atletico will have more space to play their style.

I don't see Hodgson changing suddenly. Not to say he's some sort of liquid football genius.. But Chelsea and Mourinho have been doing this for ages. Can't see him suddenly taking hold of the idea.

He already adopted that style of play against France and Italy in Euro 2012.

If England get off badly which is normal he could become overly defensive in his tactics. Now we are a different looking side granted and will still play Rooney who cannot hold the ball up in big games.

Lallana, Sterling and Sturridge would be a better balance with Henderson and Gerrard Wilshere is a waste also he may play him also. If he does we could revert back to negative football.

If England do end up getting pinned in the own half, like they usually do at the big tournaments, will the players get any of the blame? Or are we just going to pin it on the manager again?
