They played a friendly against Brazil a few months ago and they beat the shit out of Neymar. Brazil won 4 or 5-0. One of the most violent games I've seen in the last years.

Looking forward to seeing the Argies play.  Seeing them beat Brazil in the final at the Maracana would be brilliant. Maybe they'd shut the fuck up about Las Malvinas for a day or so.

Surprising line-up from Argentina who go to a 3-5-2 which they only used for away games at altitude during qualifying.

-------------------Romero

---------Campagnaro-Garay-Fernández

Zabaleta-----------------------------------Rojo

-------------Mascherano-Rodríguez

-------------------Di María

---------------Messi---Agüero

Very Happy To be honest, Bernardo, our chances of progressing beyond a quarter final are very low.

Do Argentinians refer to the roots of their ancestors or do they see themselves as Argies first? It's just you tend to hear this often from South Americans.

In Brazil, even the sons of Japanese/Chinese/Korean parents consider themselves Brazilians. Only a few right-wing c**ts like to say "I'm Italian/German/Spanish".

Hmm. I'd like to watch the Argies, but I have to work tomorrow. Decisions.

Interesting starting lineup. 3-5-2 having a renaissance in this tournament, Brian must be a happy bunny.

Argentina have talented players, crowd advantage and a relatively easy draw. And it's been 24 years since the last time they reached the semifinals. Their chances of reaching the semis are as good as anyone's.

Argentina has the possible easiest way to the semi final of all top teams. So yeah, they have big chances this year.

Bosnia already exposing the weaknesses in Argentina's defence. Argentina allow the Bosnians too much space, anything but compact.

Hah...Shizophrenic crowd. Brazilians "ole" every pass Bosnia complete, now the Argentinians boo.

Messi in superman mode. He wants too much too quickly. Keep it simple Leo.

Pjanic is class. Very Modric esque with his passing off both feet. Loves a curling cross fielder with the outside of the boot. Roma have a gem of a player there.

That was some truly good defending by Bosnia there, passing it around in their own box as if it's nothing.

Di Maria is Argentina's best and most dangerous player. Criminally underrated.
