Fey wrote:Oh ffs. Just tuned in when Pepe went fully retarded again. Though he shouldnt have given a red. Smart move from Mueller, typical oldschool German. Thats what they need in this team. Now it's GG already.

Was it a penalty at first? Just caught the 2-0. Bad defending from Pepe.

Low, must have thought....van Gaal played 4-3-3 let me try that for a change. And with a false 9 its a great system.

More or less.

Home of the most corrupt FA on the planet, FIFAs darlings for as long as it exists, benefitted from more questionable refereeing decisions than the rest of the world combined over the years.

You know todo, the last time we hosted a tournament, we at least didn't pay off the ref to help us, because our team was not good enough to win the tournament. <Ale>

Is it a joke?

Since I follow football:

1990 vs Argentina: gifted a penalty

1994 vs Belgium:  ref didn't give a clear penalty to Belgium. Also Helmer should have easily been red-carded.

2002 vs USA: Torsten Frings handball on the goal line. Penalty and red card.

2006 vs Sweden: ridiculous red card to swedish player

2010 vs England: english goal was disallowed.

All knockout stage matches. Germany won three of them by one goal margin.

During that period, as far as I remember Brazil were helped by the ref against Turkey (2002) and Ivory Coast (2010) in the group stage and against Belgium (2002) in the knockout stage.

The most helped nation by the refs over the past 25 years!  Ale

Germans can add another one to the list.

What Muller did was wrong, but it's also a quality if you can troll Latin players that much they start to lose their temper.

Holland tried that in 2006 and it backfired.

Also, im buying some WC shirts as we speak atm, and im still doubting to add the German one. I need one to troll the locals here, but its by far the worst one they've had in ages.

Okay, seen the penalty call...im 60/40 in favour of giving it. BUT if the ref goes by the letter of the law, that should have been a red.

A lot of football players cheat. Nationality has little to do with it nowadays, some English commentators are living in the 70s.

I hate this "it's part of the game" attitude, it's not part of any game I played growing up.

Pepe is a Dirty c**t. But his idiocy wasn't the elbow, but running to Müller and trying to headbutt him. He is a nutcase. The mental aspect is as important as the tactical and technical when it comes to evaluating players.

Watching this game, I am feeling a bit nostalgic of the days Inter had a strong German flavour. We could do with a few players from this current Germany, only we can't afford it anymore....

Loew lost his Germanliness when he got stripped of his driverslicense. Thats the only German thing he had left. And should be sacked just for that.

I didn't say "its part of the game" or that its ok, I am just saying that its nationality independent these days despite what some English like to believe.

That actually is the only thing speaking for his Germanness. Speeding is a national passion.

Germany are excellent besides all the quality in the team they know how to keep the odds of winning a game on there side. Including the use of the negative advantages required to win the game. Before the start just at kick off did you see Mueller whisper in the referees ear planting a seed of course I am guessing but I wonder what he mentioned.

Defensive headers are good. Götze should have done better.

Kroos is MOTM, despite Müller's goals.

Penalty was completely legit IMO.

Two observations :

1) Iberian teams don't do well in Salvador

2) The same headbutt against Holland (not even a foul given) is a sending off offense against Germany...
